Accesso:
From Bognanco Fonti, continue towards Bognanco; at the first hairpin bend, a large parking lot with a picnic area offers the first place to stop. With a suitable vehicle, you can drive along the dirt road that starts on the right just before the parking lot. Access to the road is unrestricted up to the hydroelectric power station and the ford over the Bogna stream. Driving along it saves about 2 km on the approach.
Avvicinamento (45 min):
From the ford over the Bogna stream, continue along the road to the final parking area, where you can assess the flow rate at the last waterfall. From here, hike up to Alpe Pianezza and, at the junction above the alpine pasture, turn left towards Alpe Garione. You will reach the stream near a hydroelectric plant; the canyon begins just below.
