Wir fahren auf der A-138 von Ainsa nach Norden in Richtung Bielsa. Nach 10 km (ab Ortsmitte Ainsa) queren wir den Rio Bellós und durchfahren anschließend die Ortschaft Escalona. 350m nach der Brücke biegen wir beim Kreisverkehr in nordwestlicher Richtung ("Fanlo" - "Anisclocanyon") ab auf die HU-631. Wir fahren immer am Fluss (Rio Bellós) entlang, kommen in die Schlucht, die Straße führt teilweise hoch an der Wand entlang und nach 23,3 km (ab Kreisverkehr Escalona) kommen wir zu dem Sattel nördlich unterhalb der Häuser von Fanlo. Hierher gibt es auch eine Alternativanfahrt auf besserer, insbes. breiterer Straße. Dazu biegen wir 1,9 km nach dem erwähnten Kreisverkehr im Norden Escalonas links ab auf die Straße nach Buerba und Vio. Wir fahren zunächst vorbei am Campingplatz und dann 12 km hinauf nach Buerba. Am Ort vorbei, hinauf über den Sattel (mit schöner Aussicht in den Anisclo-Canyon) und jenseits in Sepentinen bergab. 4,4 km nach Buerba stoßen wir in spitzem Winkel auf die HU-631, auf die wir nach links (in nordwestlicher Richtung) abbiegen. Von hier sind es dann noch 8,5 km bis Fanlo. Wir stellen unser Auto an dem Sattel am Straßenrand ab.

We drive north on the A-138 from Ainsa in the direction of Bielsa.
