Nach der Umfahrung von Genf auf der Schweizer N 1 nach der Landesgrenze auf der A 40 in Richtung Lyon, Dijon, Paris, Nach 25 km (ab Grenze)die Abfahrt 11 (Bellegarde Center) nehmen in Richtung Fragny, Seyssel. 6 km weiter am Ortsausgang von Mons rechts ab auf die D 992 und durch Seyssel und Culoz (weitere 23 km), wo man auf der D 904 (Richtung Bourg-en-Bresse) zusätzliche 8,5 km weiterfährt bis Artemare (insgesamt 62 km ab Grenze). In Artemare fahren wir bei der markanten Linkskurve halbrechts (Rue de la Poste), überqueren die D 31 (Cote d'Yon) am Place de la Liberté und fahren auf der Rue du Stade in Richtung Schulviertel und anschließend aus dem Ort hinaus. Wir erreichen die nahe Brücke über den Sèran und stellen das untere Fahrzeug direkt nach der Brücke links ab. Mit dem anderen Fahrzeug geht es zurück zum Place de la Liberté und dort links auf die D 31 (Cote d'Yon). In Serpentinen geht es hinauf zum Weiler Don. Die D 31 quert den Groin ("Gouffre ..."). Dort, wo sie wenige hundert Meter später nach Norden schwenkt, biegen wir links auf einen Feldweg ab, der hinunter führt zum Sèran. Nach der Brücke parken.

After bypassing Geneva on the Swiss N 1 after the national border, take the A 40 in the direction of Lyon, Dijon, Paris. After 25 km (from the border) take exit 11 (Bellegarde Center) in the direction of Fragny, Seyssel. 6 km further on, at the end of Mons, turn right onto the D 992 and drive through Seyssel and Culoz (another 23 km), where you continue on the D 904 (towards Bourg-en-Bresse) for another 8.5 km to Artemare (62 km in total from the border). In Artemare, turn half right at the prominent left-hand bend (Rue de la Poste), cross the D 31 (Cote d'Yon) at Place de la Liberté and continue along Rue du Stade towards the school district and then out of the town. We reach the nearby bridge over the Sèran and park the lower vehicle on the left immediately after the bridge. Take the other vehicle back to Place de la Liberté and turn left onto the D 31 (Cote d'Yon). The road winds its way up to the hamlet of Don. The D 31 crosses the Groin ("Gouffre ..."). Where it turns north a few hundred meters later, turn left onto a dirt road that leads down to Sèran. Park after the bridge.

Vom Parkplatz in südwestlicher Richtung; falls man beim Finden des Zustiegs Probleme hat, bis zum Aussichtspunkt vorgehen, dann nach Westen. Hier stößt man sofort auf den Trockencanyon und geht in nördlicher Richtung an ihm entlang, bis man zusteigen kann. Notfalls vom Rand via Baum hineinseilen.

From the parking lot, head southwest; if you have problems finding the access, proceed to the viewpoint, then west. Here you will immediately come across the dry canyon and walk along it in a northerly direction until you can climb in. If necessary, rope in from the edge via a tree.

Durch diesen Canyon floss der Sèran, bis er sich den jetzigen Flusslauf gegraben hat; Alternative für den Cerveyrieu, falls in dem engen Zustieg zu viel Wasser. Gut zu kombinieren mit den Canyons des Sèran und dem Groin.

The Sèran flowed through this canyon until it carved out the current course of the river; an alternative for the Cerveyrieu if there is too much water in the narrow access. Good to combine with the canyons of the Sèran and the Groin.

Unmittelbar nach dem hohen Abseiler in westicher Richtung hinauf unter die Felswand und unter dieser entlang, bis man einen geeigneten Aufstieg nach oben findet (ist dem Verfasser nicht optimal gelungen, kein deutlicher Pfad - 2008). Oben angelangt weglos zurück zum Parkplatz.

Immediately after the high rappel in a westerly direction up under the rock face and along it until you find a suitable ascent to the top (the author did not succeed optimally, no clear path - 2008). Once at the top, return to the parking lot without a path.
