Auf der Verbindungsstraße Corte - Ponte Leccia liegt etwa auf halber Strecke Francardo. Von Hier geht es auf der D 84 in Richtung Calacuccia, hinein in die Golo-Schlucht Scala di Santa Regina. 7 km nach dem Passieren der Ponte Castirla kommt man zu der Brücke über den Falconaia und hat den Blick auf den hohen Wasserfall. 50 m nach der Brücke rechts ein geräumiger Parkstreifen. Hier Auto abstellen.
On the Corte - Ponte Leccia link road, about halfway, is Francardo. From here take the D 84 in the direction of Calacuccia, entering the Golo canyon Scala di Santa Regina. 7 km after passing the Ponte Castirla you come to the bridge over the Falconaia and have a view of the high waterfall. 50 m after the bridge on the right there is a spacious parking strip. Here you can park your car.

Vom Auto weglos 20 Höhenmeter hinauf zum alten Maultierpfad; auf diesem rechts, bis man bei einer kleinen Kuppe in wieder den Falconaia mit seinem Wasserfall sehen kann. Nun auf (z.T. recht undeutlichen) Steigspuren steil hinauf. Später sieht man oben ein Stromleitungsmast, auf den man zuhält. Wenn man ihn erreicht hat, trifft man auf den Pfad, der von der Ortschaft Corscia kommt. Auf diesem rechts (ostwärts) und hinunter zum Bach (Einstieg). Achtung: Der zeitaufwändige Zustieg und Rückweg von und nach Corscia (wie bei Hubert Ayasse - Philippe Dubreuil beschrieben) kommt entweder in Betracht, wenn man den Canyon mit einer schönen Bergwanderung verbinden will oder unten kein Platz für das Auto verfügbar ist (im Sommer gilt zeitweise auch ein generelles Parkverbot in der Scala di Santa Regina).
From the car, climb without a path for 20 meters up to the old mule track; follow this to the right until you can see the Falconaia with its waterfall again at a small hilltop. Now follow the (sometimes quite indistinct) climbing tracks steeply uphill. Later you will see an electricity pylon at the top, which you should head towards. When you reach it, you meet the path that comes from the village of Corscia. Follow it to the right (eastwards) and down to the stream (entry). Caution: The time-consuming access and return to and from Corscia (as described by Hubert Ayasse - Philippe Dubreuil) is either an option if you want to combine the canyon with a beautiful mountain hike or if there is no parking space available at the bottom (in summer there is also a general parking ban in the Scala di Santa Regina).

Ununterbrochene Abfolge meist etwas höherer Abseiler. Zwischendurch interessante Engpassage. Die C70 hat etwa in ihrer Mitte einen bequemen Umsteiger. Gegen Ende etwas mühsame Blockkletterei.
Uninterrupted sequence of mostly slightly higher rappels. Interesting narrow passages in between. The C70 has a comfortable changeover in the middle. Some arduous block climbing towards the exit.
