Von Villa di Villa fährt man Richtung Tiago. In Tiago li Richtung „Castello“. Nach der Ortschaft Tiago geht die Straße bergab und man überquert eine kleine Brücke. Die alte Parkmöglichkeit hier ist leider abgesperrt. Weiter der Straße folgen bis man nach links zum Castello abzweigen kann und dort am großen Touristenparkplatz stehen bleiben. Entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem 2. PKW den Straßenverlauf folgen und am „Castello“ vorbei. Die Straße geht von Asphalt in Schotter über, wird dann wieder Asphalt, nochmals Schotter bis man Schlussendlich wieder auf die Asphaltierte Straße kommt. Bei der T-Kreuzung fährt man li Richtung Feltre/Belluno. Weiter. In der kleinen Ortschaft „Val Maor“ biegt man bei der 1. Gelegenheit re. ab. Man folgt der Straße Richtung „Venastadio“ bis zum Fußballplatz. From Villa di Villa drive in the direction of Tiago. In Tiago, turn left towards "Castello". After the village of Tiago, the road goes downhill and you cross a small bridge. The old parking lot here is unfortunately closed. Continue along the road until you can turn left to the Castello and stop at the large tourist parking lot. Either on foot or with the 2nd car, follow the road past the "Castello". The road changes from asphalt to gravel, then becomes asphalt again, then gravel again until you finally come back to the asphalt road. At the T-junction, turn left towards Feltre/Belluno. Continue. In the small village of "Val Maor", turn right at the first opportunity. Follow the road towards "Venastadio" as far as the soccer pitch. Park here (approx. 450m). Die Maor ist ein einzigartiger aquatischer Wandercanyon in vegetationsreicher Umgebung. Auf dem Begeher warten 2 tief eingeschnittene Abschnitte die von einem meist trockenen Bachbett getrennt werden. In diesen Abschnitten gibt es 1000fach geschichtete Gesteinsplatten. In denen sich das Wasser Labyrinthartige Gänge geschaffen hat. Trittsicherheit ist gefragt da an manchen verwundenen Stellen das Tageslicht nur mehr sehr spärlich am Boden ankommt (auf eine künstliche Lichtquelle kann aber im Normalfall verzichtet werden). Am Einstieg nach der 1. Staumauer, die li über ein Fixseil abgeklettert wird, folgt in kürze der erste eingeschnittene Abschnitt. Danach geht man einige Zeit im offenen Bachbett bis man auf eine 2. Staumauer trifft wo man sich li von einem Baum ca. 10m abseilt. Es kommt noch ein kurzer offener Geh- und Abkletterabschnitt bevor es weiter in den 2. längeren eingeschnittenen Schluchtenabschnitt geht. Der Einstieg/Abstieg in den 2. Teil fängt mit einer kleinen Stufe und einem Sprung in einen schönen tiefen Gumpen an, danach geht es weiter durch leicht abfallende wasserreiche Korridore. Am Schluss des 2. Abschnittes, wo man auf rote Felsblöcke trifft, öffnet sich die Schlucht wieder. Hier trifft man auf einen herzförmigen. Siphon der leicht um klettert werden kann. Es folgt eine felsdurchsetzte Gehpassage einige Felsen werden abgeklettert oder umgangen. Nach einem längeren Gehabschnitt kommt ein Bach/Zulauf von li. Diesen folgt man flussaufwärts über einige kleine Stufen bis zu einer alten Staumauer mit Wasserableitung. Auf der re Seite kann man gut hochklettern. In Kürze gelangt man zur Straßenbrücke und Parkplatz.(ca.350Hm)

The Maor is a unique aquatic hiking canyon in a vegetation-rich environment. There are 2 deep parts separated by a mostly dry streambed. In these parts there are 1000-fold layered rock slabs. In which the water has created labyrinthine passages. Surefootedness is required as in some twisted places the daylight only reaches the ground very sparingly (however, an artificial light source can normally be dispensed with). At the entry point after the 1st dam wall, which is left downclimbed via fixed ropes, the first parts of the route are cut in shortly. Then you walk for some time in the open streambed until you reach a 2nd dam wall where you rappel left from a tree for about 10m. There is a short open walking and descending section before continuing into the 2nd longer incised gorge section. The entry/descent into the 2nd section starts with a small step and a jump into a nice deep pool, then continues through slightly sloping watery corridors. At the end of the 2nd part, where you come across red boulders, the canyon opens up again. Here you come to a heart-shaped. Siphon that can be easily climbed around. This is followed by a walking passage interspersed with rocks, some of which are downclimbed or bypassed. After a longer section of walking, you come to a stream/inflow from the left, which you follow upstream over a few small steps to an old dam wall with water drainage. There is a good climb on the right-hand side. You will soon reach the road bridge and parking lot (approx. 350m).

Ausstiegsvariante 1: Vor der Brücke steigt man li. aus dem Bach zur Straße und auf der Straße bis in der Kehre nach links ein gut ausgebauter Wanderweg abzweigt. Auf diesen Wanderweg bis zum Parkplatz beim Castello. Ausstiegsvariante 2: Nach dem Siphon und kurzer Gehstrecke kommen große rote auffällige Felsblocke. Hier findet man li eine gelbe Markierung am Baum (340Hm). Der Markierung folgt man li aus der Schlucht. Zuerst steil über Waldböschung hinauf bis zu einem Drahtseil. Dann gerade aus (Weg nicht weiter re folgen!) über die freie Fläche bis zur kleinen Häusergruppe an der Schotterstraße (Für diese Variante parkt man das 2. Auto am besten vor den Häusern li an der Schotterstraße). Ausstiegsvariante 3: Wir kommen zu dem auffälligen roten Felsblock (siehe Ausstiegsvariante 2) mit roten Pfeilen nach rechts un links. An diesem Block vorbei weitere ca. 50m bachab sehen wir am rechten Ufer relativ deutliche Trittspuren, die in spitzem Winkel nach rechts auf dem Ufer aufwärts führen (Aug. 2023 Steinmännchen rechts im Bachbett), siehe auch Fotos. Wir folgen dem Pfad, der an bei Alternativmöglichkeiten jeweils durch Steinmännchen deutlich markiert ist. Dieser Pfad ist auch in der open street map eingezeichnet. Im Verhältnis zu den Austiegsmöglichkeiten 1 und 2 kommen wir hier relativ bequem (im Verhältnis zur Variante 1) bzw relativ schnell (im Verhältnis zu Variante 2) nach oben . Zudem ist die Umsetzungsstrecke mit 1,5 km sehr kurz.

Exit option 1: Before the bridge, climb to the left out of the stream to the road and on the road until in the hairpin bend to the left a well-maintained hiking trail branches off. Follow this trail until you reach the parking lot at Castello. Exit option 2: After the siphon and a short walking passages you will come to large red conspicuous boulders. Here you will find a yellow marking on the tree on the left (340Hm). Follow the mark on the left out of the canyon. First steeply up over forest embankment to a wire rope. Then straight ahead (do not follow the path to the right!) across the open area to the small group of houses on the gravel road (for this variant it is best to park the 2nd car in front of the houses to the left on the gravel road). Exit option 3: We come to the conspicuous red boulder (see exit option 2) with red arrows to the right and left. Past this boulder another 50m or so downstream we see relatively clear footprints on the right bank leading up the bank at an acute angle to the right (Aug. 2023 cairn on the right in the streambed), see also photos. We follow the trail, which is clearly marked by cairns at each of the alternative options. This path is also marked on the open street map. In relation to the exit options 1 and 2 we come here relatively comfortable (in relation to variant 1) or relatively fast (in relation to variant 2) to the top. In addition, the implementation distance of 1.5 km is very short.
