Auf der N 202 von Nizza in (nördlicher) Richtung Digne. Nach 20 km rechts ab und auf der D 2565 im Tal der Vesubie aufwärts weitern, nicht ganz 10 km, bis kurz vor der Ortschaft St Jean la Rivière in spitzen Winkel die D 19 abzweigt. Sie führt uns hinauf zum Dorf Duranus (5 km nach der Abzweigung). Noch etwas weiter hinunter über die Brücke findet man in der nächsten Linkskurve Platz zum Abstellen des Fahrzeugs.

On the N 202 from Nice in (northern) direction Digne. After 20 km, turn right and continue on the D 2565 up the valley of the Vesubie, not quite 10 km, until just before the village of St Jean la Rivière, the D 19 branches off at an acute angle. It leads us up to the village of Duranus (5 km after the turnoff). A little further down over the bridge, you will find space to park the car in the next left turn.

Der vorgegebene Ausstieg erfolgt ca. 100 m, bevor der reichlich Wasser führende Kanal das Vallon de Duranus quert. Vom Kanal führt in der orograf. linken Flanke ein Steig hinauf zur D 19. Auf dieser nach links in 900 m zum Auto. Man könnte auf dem Steig auch abwärts zur D 2565 gehen, doch ist ein Versetzen von Fahrzeugen nicht sinnvoll, da die Parkmöglichkeiten auf der D 2565 in der hier engen Schlucht äußerst beschränkt sind und zudem Gefahr besteht, dass das geparkte Auto bis zur Rückkehr geknackt ist. Wegen des geringen Zeitbedarfs kann man das Vallon de Duranus mit dem benachbarten Vallon de L'Imberguet verbinden.

The exit is about 100 m before the canal with plenty of water crosses the Vallon de Duranus. From the canal, a path leads up the orographic left flank to the D 19, which you follow to the left for 900 m to the car. You could also follow the path down to the D 2565, but it is not advisable to move vehicles, as parking on the D 2565 is extremely limited in the narrow canyon here and there is also a risk that the parked car will be broken into by the time you return. The Vallon de Duranus can be combined with the neighboring Vallon de L'Imberguet due to the short time required.
