Either from Mittenwald or Seefeld/Tyrol to Leutasch in the valley of the same name. From there along the Leutascher Ache upstream in a westerly direction to the hamlet of Klamm (about 2km). 400 m further on we come to the bridge over the Klammbach. Turn right before the bridge. We drive slightly uphill and park the car after 180 m at the edge of a larger open space.

We take the dirt road that leads us uphill in a northerly direction (signposts: "Wetterstein Hütte, Wang Alm, Puittal, Gehrenspitze"). We reach a hill, go downhill on the other side to a bridge and enter the stream a little below it.
