From Corte on a narrow road D623, with signpost "Restonica", to the parking lot at the exit at the altitude of about 1350 m.a.s.l. At the parking lot is the mountain hut Bergeries de Grotelle. The last part is subject to toll (6 euros - 2016).

From the parking lot on the road downhill for about 100 m to the small bridge and cross it to the right bank of the Restonica. Pass through a few old farm buildings and then cross the Rau. de Cavacciole to the orographic. left bank. Now go up on a small path, first about 50 to 100 meters from canyon, then from halfway close to the canyon. The path is marked with stone markers. Then we come to a plateau at the height of 1680 m.a.s.l., where the canyon begins.

Road only passable to Camping Tuani itself, from there only passable by shuttle bus to "A Frasseta" (then 2 bridges collapsed, road partly broken away) - shuttle must be booked in advance! https://www.isula.corsica/Navetta-Restonica-C13_a4624.html From the terminus, you have to walk approx. 6km to the end of the valley along the hiking trail (signposted to "Lac de Melo", orographic left) - expect an additional 1.5-2h each way! Canyon didn't work out for us, water level would have been cool :)
