Aus Richtung Rom kommend verlassen wir die A 1 über die Ausfahrt Ceprano. Von Ceprano fahren wir auf der N 6 nach Arce (7 km) und weiter in Richtung Santopadre. Wenige hundert Meter vor Erreichen dieser Ortschaft biegen wir in spitzem Winkel links ab in Richtung Fontana Liri. 2 km weiter biegen wir rechts ab und sofort danach wieder links auf die Via Casale (Wegweiser 'Loc. Santo Spirito'). Etwa 1500 m weiter stellen wir das untere Fahrzeug an der Brücke ab.
Mit dem zweiten wieder zurück und hinauf, bis wir etwa 150m vor Erreichen der Straße Arce - Santopadre links abbiegen und in Serpentinen durch den Wald hinabfahren zur Brücke (Oberer Parkplatz).
Coming from Rome, leave the A1 at the Ceprano exit. From Ceprano, take the N6 to Arce (7 km) and continue in the direction of Santopadre. A few hundred meters before reaching this village, turn left at an acute angle towards Fontana Liri. 2 km further on, turn right and then immediately left again onto Via Casale (signposted 'Loc. Santo Spirito'). About 1500 m further on, park the lower vehicle at the bridge.
Return with the second vehicle and drive uphill until you reach the Arce - Santopadre road about 150 m before turning left and descending through the forest to the bridge (upper parking lot).

Der Santopadre lohnt sich nur bei ausreichendem Wasserdurchsatz, wenn man die Schlussgumpen springen kann. Wasserdurchsatz am Einstieg garantiert aber noch nicht Wasserdurchsatz ab der Mitte der Schlucht.
Wenn die Schlussgumpen nicht voll - marmita trampa! Dort Ausstieg möglich und im Bachbett bzw. am Rande und wieder nach oben.
The Santopadre is only worthwhile if there is sufficient water flow to jump the final pumps. Water flow at the entry does not guarantee water flow from the middle of the canyon.
