Von Lecco auf der neuen Straße in's Valsassina nach Ballabio. Vom Kreisverkehr im Zentrum auf der SP 62 etwa 1km in Richtung Lecco und dann links ab auf die SP 63. In vielen Serpentinen und kurvenreich fahren wir am Rande des Val Boazzo 12,5 km hinauf nach Olino und von hier noch 3 km weiter nach Morterone. Etwa 100m vor der Kirche Auto abstellen.

Hier biegen wir rechts hinunter, weg von der Straße, links vorbei an einem Gehöft am Wiesenrand hinunter. Vorbei an 2 Berghütten treten wir in den Wald ein, steigen am linken Hochufer abwärts, bis uns eine Spur rechts in den Bach hinunterbringt.
We go down the road branching off at an acute angle in a northeasterly direction, passing a sinkhole on the left ("Bus de Carigun") and after 500m we come to a farm. Here we turn down to the right, away from the road, passing a homestead on the left and descending along the edge of the meadow. Passing 2 mountain huts, we enter the forest, descend along the left high bank until a track on the right takes us down into the stream.
