In Genf kommen wir (nach der Grenze) auf die Autobahn A 40 (Autoroute Blanche) in Richtung Lyon. Auf dieser fahren wir etwa 75 km. Wir kommen zu einem Autobahnkreuz und fahren noch 9 km weiter in Richtung Lyon (A 42). Dann verlassen wir die Autobahn und fahren nach Amberieu-en-Bugey. Bei Erreichen des Stadtrandes biegen wir rechts ab auf die D 1075 (früher N 75). Diese Straße biegt, nachdem wir etwa 2 km in südwestlicher Richtung gefahren sind, an einer aufwändig ausgebauten Verzweigung in östlicher Richtung links ab (geradeaus die D 1084). Wir fahren etwa 7,5 km, zuletzt in südlicher Richtung, westlich vorbei an der Ortschaft Lagnieu. Unmittelbar vor der Brücke über die Rhone biegen wir links ab auf die D 19 und fahren am orograf.(!) rechten Rhoneufer über Sault-Brénaz nach Serrières-de-Briord (etwa 15 km ab Rhonebrücke. Wenige Meter vor dieser Ortschaft biegen wir links hinauf ab auf die D 32 und erreichen nach witeren 4 km die Ortschaft Bénonces. In der Ortschaft biegen wir von der D 32 rechts ab auf die D 87 in Richtung Seillonnaz. Wir passieren den Weiler Onglas und kommen einige Hundert Meter danach zu der Straßenbrücke über "unseren" Bach. Hier Auto abstellen.

In Geneva (after the border), we take the A 40 highway (Autoroute Blanche) in the direction of Lyon. We drive on this highway for about 75 km. We come to a highway junction and drive another 9 km in the direction of Lyon (A 42). Then we leave the highway and drive to Amberieu-en-Bugey. On reaching the outskirts of the town, we turn right onto the D 1075 (formerly the N 75). After driving about 2 km in a south-westerly direction, this road turns left at an elaborately constructed junction in an easterly direction (straight ahead is the D 1084). We drive about 7.5 km, finally in a southerly direction, west past the village of Lagnieu. Immediately before the bridge over the Rhone, turn left onto the D 19 and continue along the orographic (!) right bank of the Rhone via Sault-Brénaz to Serrières-de-Briord (about 15 km from the Rhone bridge. A few meters before this village we turn left uphill onto the D 32 and after another 4 km we reach the village of Bénonces. In the village, we turn right off the D 32 onto the D 87 in the direction of Seillonnaz. We pass the hamlet of Onglas and a few hundred meters later come to the road bridge over "our" stream. Park your car here.

Kurz, aber lohnend; eignet sich zum "Auffüllen" eines angebrochenen Tages (in unmittelbarer Nähe die Canyons Trefon-Pernaz, Cascades du Luizet). Die Sicherung für den letzten Abseiler ist etwa 5 m zurückgesetzt an einem Felsen. Verboten im Monat August, sowie jeweils vom 1. November bis 14. April, sowie in dem Bachbereich unterhalb des beschriebenen Abstiegs.

Short but rewarding; suitable for "filling up" a day that has already begun (the Trefon-Pernaz and Cascades du Luizet canyons are in the immediate vicinity). The belay for the last rappel is about 5 m back on a rock. Prohibited in August and from November 1 to April 14, as well as in the stream area below the described descent.

Entweder in der Kleinschlucht Seile hängen lassen und hier zurück (geht auch ohne Shunt und Handsteigklemme) oder am Ende der Begehung links oben am Hang über der Kleinschlucht auf deutlichen Spuren zurück in das Bachbett oberhalb der Kleinschlucht.

Either leave ropes hanging in the Kleinschlucht and return here (can also be done without shunt and hand ascender) or at the exit of the ascent left up the slope above the Kleinschlucht on clear tracks back to the streambed above the Kleinschlucht.
