Un coche: desde el parking del final del Jaqués hay una senda marcada con hitos que nos lleva hasta la cresta que nos aproxima a la pared superior del Jaqués Dos coches: Desde le parking de abajo, con el otro coche iremos hacia Ludiente y lo aparcaremos cerca del mas de Noguereta

El acceso a la pared superior se hace por una cresta con muy buenas vistas. La cresta es ancha y no tiene complicaciones, ni hace falta material para hacerla. Cuando llegamos al final de la cresta, vemos un árbol grande, hay que bajar unos metros (antes de llegar al árbol es mas fácil destrepar) y veremos una chapa con anilla para instalar un pasamanos y acercarnos a la reunión para bajar esa impresionante pared. La instalación es: Pasamanos Jaqués superior =de 4m. R1 Jaqués superior = 14m. R2 Jaqués superior = 39m. En R2 solo caben dos personas, la reunión es casi volada aunque se toca un poco la pared, hace falta pedaleta para poder salir de la reunión. Desde la base de esta pared, se camina siguiendo los hitos hasta el barranco Jaqués, no hay senda definida, hay que ir con ojo porque con un resbalón te vas 80 metros para abajo….. Siguiendo los hitos legamos al Barranco Jaqués, de este ya hay muchas reseñas en internet, pero anoto las medidas de los rápeles porque en alguna reseña la aproximación al rapel de 60m pone 10m y realmente son unos 17m. Barranco Jaqués: R1= 17m (ojo, alguna reseña pone 10m….). R2= 60m. R3= 4m, árbol, anilla con cordino. R4= 7m derecha. Hay solo una chapa, han robado la otra chapa parabolt 12mm. R5= 7m árbol con cordino y anilla. En el waypoint “ir hacia la izq orogáfica”, pasamos por encima de unas piedras cambiando hacia la izquierda orográfica, por árboles caídos, para buscar paso ya que la derecha parece con mucha vegetación. El waypoint “Volver a la derecha orográfica” , pues eso, buscando paso hacia la derecha orográfica. R6= 15m izq orográfica. Dos chapas unidas con cinta, un maillon en una de ellas

Access to the upper wall is via a ridge with great views. The ridge is wide and straightforward; no equipment is needed to traverse it. When you reach the end of the ridge, you’ll see a large tree; you’ll need to descend a few meters (it’s easier to scramble down before reaching the tree), and you’ll find a bolt with a ring for installing a handrail to help you reach the belay station and descend that impressive wall. The setup is as follows: Upper Jaqués handrail = 4 m. R1 Upper Jaqués = 14 m. R2 Upper Jaqués = 39 m. Only two people can fit at R2; the belay station is almost overhanging, though it touches the wall slightly, and you’ll need to use a step-out to leave the belay station. From the base of this wall, follow the markers on foot to the Jaqués Ravine; there is no defined trail, so you must be careful because one slip could send you 80 meters down… Following the markers, we reach the Jaqués Ravine. There are already many route descriptions online for this one, but I’m noting the rappel lengths here because some descriptions list the approach to the 60-meter rappel as 10 meters, when it’s actually about 17 meters. Jaqués Ravine: R1 = 17 m (note: some guides list this as 10 m…). R2 = 60m. R3 = 4m, tree, carabiner with sling. R4 = 7m to the right. There’s only one bolt; the other 12mm Parabolt has been stolen. R5 = 7m, tree with sling and carabiner. At the waypoint “head toward the orographic left,” we climb over some rocks, veering toward the orographic left, past fallen trees, to find a path since the right side appears to be overgrown. The waypoint “Return to orographic right”—exactly that, looking for a path toward orographic right. R6 = 15 m orographic left. Two bolts tied together with tape; a maillon on one of them.

Al llegar al cauce del Villahermosa salimos por la derecha orográfica del Jaqués y remontamos un poco el rio Villahermosa para buscar una zona con piedras y así no mojarnos los pies al cruzar el rio. Una vez cruzado el rio, vamos rio abajo hasta encontrar una pedrera con bastante pendiente, la subimos y arriba está el coche.

Arriving at the Villahermosa riverbed we leave by the orographic right of the Jaqués and go up the Villahermosa river a little to look for an area with stones and thus not get our feet wet when crossing the river. Once crossed the river, we go downstream until we find a rocky area with a steep slope, we climb it and up is the car.
