Von Cerdon fahren wir westwärts in Richtung Poncin am Fluss Ain und biegen nach etwa 1,5 km links ab auf die D11, die südlich in Richtung Corlier, Hauteville-Lompnes führt. Wir passieren die Ortschaft Preau und biegen 1,7 km nach der Abfahrt von der Verbindungsstraße Cerdon - Poncin links ab auf eine Piste und fahren, soweit es möglich ist (ca. 800m). Dann stellen wir das Fahrzeug so ab, dass es nicht stört.\nMit dem zweiten Auto geht es wieder zurück auf die D11, dort links, wieder Richtung Corlier, Hauteville-Lompness. Wir fahren nun auf der D11, später auf der D12 zunächst nach Châtillon de Cornelle (bis hierher 4,4 km), dann weiter nach Corlier (noch einmal 5 km). In der Ortsmitte von Corlier biegen wir links ab auf die Route de la Forêt und halten uns nach 130m nochmals links.Die Straße führt zu einem kleinen Flugplatz mit Graslandebahn - Altiport. 550m nach dem Abbiegen von der D12 in Corlier kommen wir an einer Hangkante zu einer Verzweigung. Rechts geht es zu einem Gehöft, links zum Altiport. Wir nehmen die Piste in der Mitte und fahren nun 1,6 km, bis rechts ein Waldweg abgeht. Wir können nun entweder das Auto hier abstellen oder aber den rustikalen Waldweg weiter hinunterfahren bis zu einem kleinen Haus auf einerWaldlichtung, das der Feuerwehrlöschwasserversorgung dient.

From Cerdon we drive westwards in the direction of Poncin on the river Ain and after about 1.5 km turn left onto the D11, which leads south in the direction of Corlier, Hauteville-Lompnes. We pass the village of Preau and 1.7 km after the exit from the connecting road Cerdon - Poncin we turn left on a dirt road and drive as far as it is possible (about 800m). Then we park the car so that it does not interfere.\nWith the second car we go back to the D11, there turn left, again in the direction of Corlier, Hauteville-Lompness. We now drive on the D11, later on the D12 first to Châtillon de Cornelle (up to here 4.4 km), then further to Corlier (another 5 km). In the center of Corlier we turn left on Route de la Forêt and after 130m we turn left again.the road leads to a small airfield with grass runway - Altiport. 550m after turning off the D12 in Corlier we come to a junction on the edge of a slope. On the right we go to a farmstead, on the left to the Altiport. We take the track in the middle and drive now 1,6 km until a forest track turns off to the right. We can either park the car here or continue down the rustic forest road until we reach a small house in a clearing, which serves as a water supply for the fire department.

Dann biegt man auf den ersten Forstweg ab, der links in den Wald hineinläuft. Nach mehreren Richtungswechseln erreichen wir schließlich den Bach. Bei einer Umsetzung beginnt der Anmarsch am oberen Fahrzeug. Wenn es oben an der Abzweigung des Wadweges von der Piste steht - das ist auf der Skizze der Zacken rechts unten -, geht man den Waldweg orograf. rechts vom Bach abwärts, passiert passiert das kleine Häuschen, wo man das obere Auto evtl. auch abstellen kann, und geht dann weiter bis zum Einstieg (ab oberem Auto 12min).

Then turn onto the first forest path, which runs into the forest on the left. After several changes of direction, you finally reach the stream. The approach begins at the upper vehicle at a conversion. When it is at the top at the junction of the Wadweg from the slope - this is the jag on the bottom right on the sketch - you walk down the forest path orographic right of the stream, pass the small cottage where you can possibly park the upper car, and then continue to the entry (from the upper car 12min).

Nach einigen Metern links am Bach entlang abwärts erreichen wir den ersten kleinen Abseiler. Direkt danach folgt der eindrucksvolle Abseiler im freien Hang zwischen den beiden Ästen des Wasserfalls. Es folgen Laufstrecken, unterbrochen von kleinen Rutschen und weiteren schönen Abseilern. Schließlich kommt der hohe Schlussabseiler.

After a few meters left along the stream downhill we reach the first small rappel. Immediately after that follows the impressive rappel in the free slope between the two branches of the waterfall. Runs follow, interrupted by small slides and more beautiful rappels. Finally comes the high final rappel.

Am Fuß des letzten Abseilers nehmen wir den Weg, der links am Bach entlang führt und sich zu Beginn etwas von diesem entfernt. Sofern wir zum einzigen Auto in der Kurve der D11 zurück müssen (dh keine Umsetzung), nehmen wir nach einigen hundert Metern den zerfurchten Forstweg, später den Wanderweg li. davon zunächst in südwestlicher Richtung bergan. Wir folgen dabei an der Abzweigung der Beschilderung "Gouffre de la Fouge, Chatillon de Cornelle". Steil geht es hier hinauf zu einer Wiese auf der Hochfläche, über diese hinweg und den Feldweg hinunter zum Auto an der D11. Steht aber unser zweites Auto unten im Talausgang, gehen wir bei der Abzweigung geradeaus weiter, hinunter zur alten Abtei und zum Auto (15min).

At the foot of the last rappel, we take the path that runs along the stream on the left and is slightly away from it at the beginning. If we have to return to the only car in the bends of the D11 (i.e. no conversion), after a few hundred meters we take the rutted forest path, later the hiking trail left of it, initially uphill in a south-westerly direction. At the fork, follow the signs for "Gouffre de la Fouge, Chatillon de Cornelle". The path climbs steeply up to a meadow on the plateau, crosses it and follows the dirt road down to the car on the D11. However, if our second car is at the bottom of the valley, we continue straight ahead at the fork, down to the old abbey and back to the car (15 min).
