Von der A 1 (Florenz - Rom) bei der Ausfahrt Fabro (23,5 km nördlich der Ausfahrt Orvieto) abbiegen und in östlicher Richtung nach Fabro Scala, von dort weiter in Richtung Parrano. Etwa 5 km nach Verlassen der A 1 kreuzt die Straße einen Bach. Direkt hinter der Brücke folgen wir dem Wegweiser 'Tane del Diavolo' auf eine Piste, die uns (zuletzt über eine kleine Brücke) zum Parkplatz am Ende der Schlucht bringt. Dort findet sich ein Holzhaus, wo der Klettersteig durch die Schlucht 'verwaltet' wird
From the A 1 (Florence - Rome) at the Fabro exit (23.5 km north of the Orvieto exit) turn east to Fabro Scala, from there continue towards Parrano. About 5 km after leaving the A1, the road crosses a stream. Just after the bridge we follow the signpost 'Tane del Diavolo' on a dirt road that takes us (finally over a small bridge) to the parking area at the exit of the canyon. There you will find a wooden house where the via ferrata is 'managed' through the canyon

Wir queren den Bach unterhalb des großen Schlussgumpens, lassen die Wasserfassung rechts liegen und steigen den Fußweg in nördlicher Richtung bergan. Wir kommen zu einem Maschendrahtzaun mit einer versperrten Türe. Entweder wir öffnen uns diese Türe mit der Bezahlung einer Gebühr für den Klettersteig oder wir kriechen möglichst unauffällig unter dem Zaun (ober- oder unterhalb der Türe) durch. Die canyoningmäßige Durchquerung der Schlucht ist eigentlich nicht gebührenpflichtig.Wir folgen dem Weg innerhalb der Umzäunung bergauf, lassen den Zustieg zum Klettersteig (beim Naturbogen) rechts liegen und erreichen auf immer dürftiger werdenden Spuren den oberen Abschnitt der Umzäunung. Wieder unten durch, dann direkt am Zaun entlang rechts leicht abwärts, bis sich nach etwa 200m im Zaun eine Lücke auftut. Durch die Lücke in östlicher Richtung zum Bach, den wir direkt unterhalb des kleinen Wehres betreten.
We cross the stream below the large final pumping station, leave the water catchment on the right and climb the footpath in a northerly direction. We come to a wire mesh fence with a locked door. Either we open this door by paying a fee for the via ferrata or we crawl under the fence (above or below the door) as inconspicuously as possible. We follow the path inside the fence uphill, leave the access to the via ferrata (at the natural arch) on the right and reach the upper part of the fence on increasingly sparse tracks. Go back down, then directly along the fence slightly downhill to the right until a gap opens up in the fence after about 200m. Through the gap in an easterly direction to the stream, which we enter directly below the small dam.
