Wir verlassen auf Höhe 290 m ü.NN die Altstadt im Süden (Markierung "3") und folgen dem Fußweg, der am linken Roya-Ufer entlangzieht. Nach etwa 400 m biegen wir bei der Markierung "105" bei einer kleinen Kapelle auf einen Pfad links ab in Richtung Vésaire und Serre de Pozzo. Wir passieren den Häuser von Vésaire (ca. 25 Min.) und steigen weiter über dem Vallon de Carleva bergan. Nach etwa 1,5 Std. ab Breil quert man ein Seitental. Der Weg geht nun in Richtung Südosten und erreicht nach weiteren 20 Min. über eine Verzweigung (850 m ü.NN) rechts hinab die Carleva (Informationstafel). Man kann den Zustieg und den Abstieg verkürzen, indem man vorher einen der Pfade rechts hinunter in's Bachbett nimmt.

At 290 m above sea level, we leave the old town to the south (marker "3") and follow the footpath that runs along the left bank of the Roya. After about 400 m, turn left onto a path towards Vésaire and Serre de Pozzo at marker "105" by a small chapel. We pass the houses of Vésaire (approx. 25 min.) and continue uphill above the Vallon de Carleva. After about 1.5 hours from Breil, you cross a side valley. The path now heads south-east and after a further 20 min. reaches a fork (850 m above sea level) on the right down to the Carleva (information board). You can shorten the access and descent by taking one of the paths on the right down into the streambed.
