Von Langevin an der Südküstenstraße fahren wirRichtung Grand Galet und stellen unser Auto auf der großen Parkfläche vor dem steilen Anstieg ab (siehe Googleskizze bei Fotos). Eine Weiterfahrt oder Autoumsetzung macht wenig Sinn, da die Straße hinauf eng ist und oben kein problemloses Parken möglich ist.

From Langevin on the south coast road we drive in the direction of Grand Galet and park our car in the large parking area before the steep climb (see Google sketch in photos). A further drive or shuttle makes little sense, because the road up is narrow and at the top no problem parking is possible.

Wir gehen also die Straße aufwärts, betrachten das Halbrund des großen Wasserfalls und kommen hinauf in die Ortschaft. Hier folgen wir der Straße etwa 250m in südlicher Richtung und biegen dann rechts ab auf eine Piste, die uns zum Rivière Langevin bringt.

So we go up the road, look at the semicircle of the big waterfall and come up to the village. Here we follow the road south for about 250m and then turn right onto a dirt road that takes us to Rivière Langevin.

Nach dem großenBassin unterhal das Wasserfalls können wir aussteigen, aber auch weiter gehen bis zum Auto und noch darüber hinaus.

After the large basin under the waterfall we can get out, but also continue to walk to the car and beyond.
