Oben angekommen, einem deutlichen Pfad absteigend nach links zum Einstieg vom Canyon de Notre-Dame folgen, dann nocheinmal aufstiegend über einen Bergrücken ins Tal des Rious absteigen (45min) Alternativ kann man auch auch durch Moustiers wandern und erst den Bach aus dem Canyon de Notre-Dame, dann den Abfluss des Riou (Ausstieg) überqueren. Man nimmt nun den Weg mit den gelben Markierungen rechts hinauf. An einer Verzweigung hält man sich rechts und kommt durch den Wald bergan auf einen Höhenrücken. Jenseits geht es in östlicher Richtung leicht bergab, um dann rechts hinunterzuhalten zu den Wiesenflächen am Bach kurz vor dessen Eintritt in die Felsenenge. Zustiegszeit ca. 75 Min.

Der 60-m-Abseiler ist zum besseren Seilabzug sinnvollerweise zu brechen (10 m + 50 m), zumal man vor dem 50-m-Teil auf einem ebenen Sims bequem stehen kann. Bei dem folgenden 40-m-Abseiler kann man aus dem abgelängten Seil in den Gumpen rutschen (ca. 10 m sind problemlos möglich).
