Auf der Inntal - Autobahn A 12 oder der Inntal - Bundesstraße 171 bis Schwaz. Nördlich von Schwaz zwischen Inn und der Autobahn liegt das Gewerbegebiet von Schwaz. Hier biegt man - von der A 12 kommend - vor der Innbrücke rechts ab und fährt nach einem Rechtsbogen die Unterinntal-Landesstraße L 215 an einem Kreisverkehr kreuzend unter der Autobahn durch nach Fiecht.\nKommt man über die Bundesstraße 171, biegt man an dem zweiten Kreisverkehr, nachdem man rechts die Innbrücke gesehen und passiert hat, über die erste Ausfahrt rechts ab auf die Münchner Strasse. Man fährt über den Inn und biegt bei der nächsten Straße rechts ab, um durch das Gewerbegebiet wieder zu einem Kreisverkehr zu kommen. Hier nimmt man die dritte Ausfahrt und befindet sich nun auf der Unterinntal-Landesstraße L 215, unterwegs in Richtung SO. Unter der Autobahnaus/auf-Fahrt durch kommt man zu einem Kreisverkehr, wo die erste Ausfahrt, unter der A 12 hindurch, in die Ortschaft Feicht führt.\nBei beiden Zufahrtsvarianten kommt man nun links haltend auf die Klosterkirche zu. Die Straße beschreibt direkt vor der Siftskirche einen Bogen nach rechts und wir durchqueren auf dieser ansteigenden Straße, zuerst in Richtung N, dann NNW und zuletzt W den Ort. An der T - Kreuzung geht es dann rechts ab und auf schmaler, steiler Straße in Richtung NW und St. Georgenberg. Bei einem Abzweiger nach rechts zu einer Burg links weiter und nach wenigen Metern auf einem großen Parkplatz links der Straße das Auto abstellen.

Here you turn - coming from the A 12 - before the Inn bridge to the right and drive after a right curve the Unterinntal-Landesstraße L 215 at a traffic circle crossing under the highway to Fiecht.\nIf you come over the federal highway 171, you turn at the second traffic circle, after you have seen and passed the Inn bridge on the right, over the first exit to the right on the Münchner Strasse. You drive over the Inn and turn right at the next street to get through the industrial area to a traffic circle again. Here you take the third exit and are now on the Unterinntal-Landesstraße L 215, heading SO. Under the freeway exit/ramp you come to a traffic circle, where the first exit, under the A 12, leads to the village of Feicht.\nWith both access variants you now come to the monastery church, keeping left. The road describes a bend to the right directly in front of the monastery church and we cross the village on this ascending road, first in the direction of N, then NNW and finally W. The road continues in the direction of the village. At the T - junction we turn right and follow a narrow, steep road in the direction NW and St. Georgenberg. At a fork to the right to a castle continue left and after a few meters on a large parking lot to the left of the road park the car.

Vom Parkplatz aus weiter nach St. Georgenberg. Über den Stallenbach (2,2 km ab Parkplatz) und zunächst am Seiergraben entlang, dann auf der Holzbrücke hoch über dem Graben zur Kirche von St. Georgenberg (900 m üNN). Vorbei am Wirtshaus und der Kirche und weiter , zunächst 150 m in westlicher Richtung, dann in vielen Serpentinen auf dem Wanderweg Nr. 234 zur Plattenalm (1490 m üNN). Die verfallene Plattenalm liegt frei auf einer sonnigen Wiese. Auf Höhe der Plattenalm über die Wiese nach NO zum Rand eines steilen Grabens. Hier mehr oder weniger weglos den Graben zum Seiergraben hinunter (Vorsicht auf Steinschlag!). Zustieg ab Parkplatz 700 Höhenmeter, ab Sankt Georgen 600 Höhenmeter.

From the parking lot, continue to St. Georgenberg. Cross the Stallenbach (2.2 km from the parking lot) and first along the Seiergraben, then on the wooden bridge high above the ditch to the church of St. Georgenberg (900 m above sea level). Pass the inn and the church and continue, first 150 m in a westerly direction, then in many serpentines on hiking trail no. 234 to the Plattenalm (1490 m above sea level). The dilapidated Plattenalm lies free on a sunny meadow. At the height of the Plattenalm, cross the meadow to the NE to the edge of a steep ditch. Here more or less pathless down the ditch to the Seiergraben (watch out for falling rocks!). Access from the parking lot 700 meters in altitude, from Sankt Georgen 600 meters in altitude.

Die Schlucht ist eng eingeschnittenen mit den hohen Seitenwänden. Zu Beginn lange wasserlose Geröllstrecken mit Baumverhau. Der nächste Abschnitt mit seinen schmalen und steilen vom Wasser eingegrabenen Rinnen ist attraktiver. Ist das Wetter schön und ist man um ca. 11:00 Uhr bei der Plattenalm losgegangen, erreicht man zusammen mit der Sonne den Schluchtgrund.

The canyon is narrowly incised with high side walls. At the beginning there are long stretches of waterless scree with tree entanglements. The next part, with its narrow and steep chutes carved by the water, is more attractive. If the weather is fine and you set off from the Plattenalm at around 11:00 a.m., you will reach the bottom of the gorge together with the sun.
