Von Hallein kommend auf der Wiestalbundesstraße Richtung Ebenau fahren. Kurz nach dem Wiestalstausee kommt auf der rechten Seite die Firma "Glas und Rahmen" ca. 200m nach der Firma kommt eine re. eine Parkmöglichkeit vor einem Schranken, hier Überstellungsfahrzeug parken (nicht am Radweg parken!!!) --> danach der Bundesstraße für ca. 1,3km bis zur Abzweigung Hintersee folgen. Hier re. der schmalen Hinterebenauer Straße vorbei an der Felbertauernschule in Richtung Hintersee bis zum Gasthaus"Seewirt"folgen. Ca.50m vor dem Gasthaus geht re. (180° Kurve) eine kl. Straße zum Staudamm Parkplatz runter --> hier parken. Tipp: Einkehr beim Gh. Obermayr oder Gh. Seewirt. Beide bieten auch Touren/Leihmaterial an.

Coming from Hallein on the Wiestalbundesstraße drive in the direction of Ebenau. Shortly after the Wiestalstausee comes on the right side the company "glass and frame" about 200m after the company comes a right. a parking possibility before a barrier, park here shuttle car (do not park on the bike path!!!) --> then follow the highway for about 1.3km to the junction Hintersee. Follow the narrow Hinterebenau road on the right past the Felbertauern school in the direction of Hintersee until you reach the "Seewirt" inn. Approx. 50m before the inn, a small road goes down to the right (180° bend) to the dam parking lot --> park here. Tip: Stop at the Obermayr inn or the Seewirt inn. Both also offer tours/rental material.

Vom Parkplatz geht es über die Staumauer auf die or. li. Seite. Hier folgt man re. nur eine kurze Strecke dem Forstweg bis re. ein kl. Pfad abzweigt. Der Pfad führt dann zu einer steilen gesicherten Stelle mit alter Eisenleiter --> hier befindet sich der Einstieg (loses Gestein im Leiterbereich!!!). Alternativer Zustieg: nicht über die Staumauer gehen sondern schon vorher or. re. einen kl. steilen Pfad direkt neben der Staumauer hinunter folgen. Danach den Staudammabfluss queren und man steht im Bach.

From the parking lot, cross the dam wall to the ortographic left. Here you follow the forest road on the right for a short distance until a small path branches off on the right. The path then leads to a steep secured place with old iron ladder --> here is the entry (loose rock in the ladder area!!!). Alternative access: do not go over the dam wall but follow a small steep path right next to the dam wall down. Then cross the dam outlet and you are in the stream.

Die Strubklamm ist eine Canyoningtour für Leute die gerne springen und sich im Wasser aufhalten. Voraussetzung für die lange aquatische Tour sind eine gute Kondition und entsprechende Ausrüstung--> es ist einer der schönsten Wander-, Sprung und Schwimmcanyons in Salzburgerland mit unzähligen Sprüngen in zum Teil tiefe Gumpen. An den höheren Stellen kann auch abgeseilt werden. Im Mittelteil gibt es re. einen Notausstieg (mit Geländerseile abgesichert) der über eine steile Böschung hoch bis zur Straße führt (ca.50m vor dem Felentunnel). Gegen Ende der Tour (bevor sich die Schlucht öffnet) kommt noch ein schöner Wasserfall von der li. Seite in die Schlucht wo sich so mancher Canyonaut noch eine Massage gönnt--> Abseilen ist für geübte Springer nicht notwendig, ein Seil (20m) sollte aber trotzdem immer mitgeführt werden.

The Strubklamm is a canyoning tour for people who like jumping and being in the water. Prerequisites for the long aquatic tour are a good physical condition and appropriate equipment--> it is one of the most beautiful hiking, jumping and swim canyons in Salzburgerland with countless jumps in partly deep pools. In the higher parts it is also possible to rappel. In the middle section there is an emergency exit on the right (secured with traverese ropes) that leads up a steep slope to the road (about 50m before the rock tunnel). Towards the exit (before the canyon opens) there is a nice waterfall from the left side of the canyon, where some canyoneers have a massage--> rappel is not necessary for experienced jumpers, but a rope (20m) should always be carried.

Ausstieg re. nach der Brücke --> re. über den Waldweg zur Straße zurück --> Shutteln vom unteren Parkplatz (mit Auto oder Bike) zum Staudammparkplatz.

Exit on the right after the bridge --> return on the right via the forest path to the road --> shuttle from the lower parking lot (by car or bike) to the dam parking lot.
