Wir verlassen die AP-7 - Autopista del Mediteráneo, Tarragona nach Valencia - kurz vor Erreichen des Ebro und fahren über die C-12 nordwärts nach Tortosa (nicht ganz 20 km bis Stadtmitte). In der Ortschaft fahren wir weiter auf der C-12 nordwärts in Richtung Lleida.
Am großen Platz "Plaça de la Corona d'Aragó" - noch vor Erreichen des Einkaufszentrums auf der rechten Seite - biegen wir links ab in die Av. Ports Tortosa-Beseit Zunächst fahren wir über Roquetes, nehmen dann den Cami de Caro in vielen Serpentinen hinauf in das Hochtal am Fuße des Monte Caro - 19,6 km ab Tortosa.
Wo sich sie Straße hier verzweigt, nehmen wir nicht die Straße links hinauf zum Monte Caro, sondern halten uns rechts. Wir fahren nun 2,7 km in südwestlicher Richtung bergab, biegen dann rechts ab und fahren 550 m bergauf. Hier eröffnen sich 2 Zufahrtsmöglichkeiten, wobei die weiter im Osten ausholende wohl eher für einen PKW ohne 4x4 geeignet ist.

We leave the AP-7 - Autopista del Mediteráneo, Tarragona to Valencia - shortly before reaching the Ebro and take the C-12 northwards to Tortosa (not quite 20 km to the town center). In the town, we continue north on the C-12 towards Lleida.
At the large square "Plaça de la Corona d'Aragó" - before reaching the shopping center on the right - we turn left into Av. Ports Tortosa-Beseit First we drive via Roquetes, then take the Cami de Caro in many serpentines up into the high valley at the foot of Monte Caro - 19.6 km from Tortosa.
Where the road branches off here, we do not take the road on the left up to Monte Caro, but keep to the right. We now drive 2.7 km downhill in a south-westerly direction, then turn right and drive 550 m uphill. There are 2 access options here, whereby the one further to the east is probably more suitable for a car without a 4x4.

Le canyon ne coule pas hormis dans la première vasque niveau du premier encaissement.Seulement un saut possible dans ces conditions, ce qui est dommage. Le canyon doit être bien plus ludique en eau.Marche retour très bien indiquée par les marques rouges à droite après la C35.NOTA : pour l’accès en voiture, cela vaut le coup de continuer la piste 500m après le point gps jusqu’à rencontrer le canyon. Cela fait gagner 20 min à l’approche et au retour.

Fait avec Yonel -Superbe canyon et paysages, c’est clairement le moment d’aller par là-bas ! On passe d’un petit débit correct au début pour finir par un débit x3 au fil des affluents qui viennent l’alimenter.Très bon équipement.Le chemin de retour est super bien indiqué (marques rouges + cairns) et très propre. Comptez 1h30 en partant de la fin et 1h si vous arrêtez au dernier affluent rive gauche. La piste est très longue mais elle passe bien à part quelques endroits où il faut faire attention et 2 passages à gué bien creusés (une Seat Ibiza est passée en frottant un peu).
