Between the large towns of Chambery and Albertville is the village of Saint Jean de la Porte, which can be reached via the A23 and then the D1006.\nAt the northern exit of this village, just before a left-hand hairpin bend, you will find a gravel parking place to the right of the road = parking exit. To get to the parking entry, follow the road for a good 5km up some hairpin bends to the houses of Combefolle. Park here. The road passes between the houses and becomes a forest road.

First 15 minutes of dry block hopping until you finally come to the first short downclimbs and rappels. All abseiling sections can be mastered without difficulty. There are a few rappels over rope slings, which need to be renewed if necessary. This canyon should definitely be walked after heavy rainfall so that you at least get wet up to your stomach.
