Auf die Hochebene über die Straße ER209 auf dem Parkplatz nähe der Koordinaten parken. Es befindet sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite ein Metallgatter (Beginn Zustieg)
Park on the plateau via the ER209 road in the parking lot near the coordinates. There is a metal gate on the opposite side (start of access)
Avvicinamento (20 min): ➜
Vom Parkplatz über die Straße durch das Metallgatter dem Wanderweg bis zum "Bachanfang" (Laut GPS) folgen (ca. 1000m). Dann links auf den schmalen Pfad abbiegen und dem Weg folgen. Der Weg ist mit gelb-schwarzen Bändern markiert (Stand 11/2024) und verläuft sehr kurvenreich.
From the parking lot, cross the road through the metal gate and follow the hiking trail to the "start of the stream" (according to GPS) (approx. 1000m). Then turn left onto the narrow path and follow the trail. The path is marked with yellow and black ribbons (as of 11/2024) and is very winding.

Schöner Canyon mit tollem Multipitch. Highlight ist der fast komplett freihängende 40m Abseiler zum Schluss des Multiptich.
Beautiful canyon with a great multipitch. The highlight is the almost completely free-hanging 40m rappel at the end of the multipitch.
Ritorno (50 min): ➜
Über die Levada do Norte zum Wanderweg. Von dort entweder nach unten Richtung Chao da Ribeira folgen (zweites Auto unten) oder Aufstieg zum Auto auf der Hochebene. Oder man geht noch den unteren Teil des Canyons.
Over the Levada do Norte to the hiking trail. From there, either follow the trail down towards Chao da Ribeira (second car at the bottom) or ascent to the car on the plateau. Or you can walk the lower part of the canyon.

Beim Zustieg immer dem Weg folgen, welcher mit gelb-schwarzer Flatterleine markiert ist. Auch wenn der Weg verwirrend verläuft. Haken alle in guten Zustand. Es empfiehlt sich die kleinen Seilgeländer auch zu verwenden, da man sonst schlecht sich einbinden und ins Seil hängen kann.
On access, always follow the path marked with a yellow and black flutter line. Even if the path is confusing. All anchors are in good condition. It is also advisable to use the small rope traverses, as otherwise it is difficult to tie yourself in and hang in the rope.
