A23 bis Abfahrt Carnia, dann auf SS52 bis Tolmezzo und über Villa Santina und Ampezzo bis nach Forni di Sotto. Durch den Ort durchfahren und nach dem Ortsende scharf links (Schild Campo Sportivo u.a.). Dieser Strasse bis zu den ersten Häusern folgen, dann rechts abzweigen und der Strasse bis zu einer gemauerten Furt über den Tagliamento folgen. Wenn die Bodenfreiheit des Autos es zulässt über die Furt drüber und dahinter links abbiegen und bis zum Generatorhaus beim Rio Poschiadea fahren und dort parken. Direkt beim Generatorhaus gibt es einen unscheinbaren Pfad rauf zur Forststraße.

Take the A23 to the Carnia exit, then the SS52 to Tolmezzo and via Villa Santina and Ampezzo to Forni di Sotto. Drive through the village and turn sharp left after the end of the village (signs Campo Sportivo etc.). Follow this road until you reach the first houses, then turn right and follow the road until you reach a brick ford over the Tagliamento. If the ground clearance of the car allows, cross the ford and turn left behind it and drive to the generator house at Rio Poschiadea and park there. Directly at the generator house there is an inconspicuous path up to the forest road.

Follow the forest road uphill, keeping right at the first fork. Follow the marked hiking trail to a ford just before the mountain station of the wooden cable car (sign Stua)

Links von Baum 15m Abseilen oder 50m dahinter abklettern. 7m von Haken links abseilen, dann kleine Sprünge bis zu einem Kettenstand rechts von dem es 8m abwärts geht. Es folgt eine längere Wanderstrecke mit dem Zufluss aus dem Canal di Mezzo der die Wasserführung mehr als verdoppelt. 8m Springen oder links von Kettenstand abseilen (Haken für Deviation vorhanden). Becken siphoniert, Vorsicht bei hohen Wasserstand. Abklettern und von rechts 10m über schräge Felsplatten abseilen. Weiter abklettern und springen bis man vor einer Bergsturzzone mit grossen Felsblöcken steht. Links 5m in den Spalt abseilen, dann die nächsten 3 Wasserfälle rechts umklettern (hier würden sich 3 weitere Abseilstellen anbieten, Bohrmaschine mitnehmen :) ). Von rechts kommt der Rio di Peschis hinzu, eventuell auch als Canyoningtour interessant. Nach einigen Abkletterpassagen und kleinen Sprüngen verengt sich die Schlucht wieder - noch eine Rutsche und eine 2m Abseil/Sprungstelle (Haken für Quergang rechts) bis man vorm Wehr mit Wasserableitung steht. Es folgen noch 5 schöne Sprünge bis 6m bevor die Schlucht endet.

Left of the tree, rappel 15m or downclimb 50m behind it. Rappel 7m from anchor on the left, then small jumps to a chain anchor on the right from which you descend 8m. A longer hike follows with the inflow from the Canal di Mezzo which more than doubles the water flow. 8m jump or rappel left from chain anchor (anchors available for deviation). Siphoned basin, be careful with high water levels. Downclimb and rappel 10m from the right over sloping rock slabs. Continue downclimbing and jumping until you reach a rockfall zone with large boulders. Abseil 5m into the gap on the left, then climb around the next 3 waterfalls on the right (there are 3 more rappels here, take a drill with you :) ). The Rio di Peschis comes in from the right, possibly also interesting as a canyoning tour. After a few downclimbs and small jumps, the canyon narrows again - another slide and a 2m rappel/jump (anchor for traverse on the right) until you reach the dam with water drainage. There are 5 more nice jumps up to 6m before the canyon exits.

Follow the streambed until you reach the power station house on the right. Behind the house, take the path back to the parking lot
