Von Ripoll fahren wir auf der N-260 nordwärts Richtung Ribes de Freser (13,5 km). Falls wir 2 Autos zur Verfügung haben, stellen wir das untere Auto nach 8,5 km (ab Stadtmitte Ripoll) beim Restaurant La Corba ab. Hier kreuzt die N-260 den Torrent Roig, "unseren" Bach.
Mit dem zweiten bzw. dem einzigen Auto geht es weiter nach Ribes de Freser (13,5 km ab Ripoll). Am Ortseingang biegen wir hinter dem Tourismus-Büro rechts ab auf die GIV-5263 und fahren hinauf nach Bruguera (5,6 km). Wir fahren weiter auf der GIV-6263, durchfahren 2 Haarnadelkurven und stellen unser Auto nach insgesamt 7,3 km (ab Abzweigung in Ribes de Freser) am Rande der nächsten linksorientierten Haarnadelkurve ab.
From Ripoll we take the N-260 north towards Ribes de Freser (13.5 km). If we have 2 cars available, we leave the lower car after 8.5 km (from the center of Ripoll) at the restaurant La Corba. Here the N-260 crosses the Torrent Roig, "our" stream.

Haben wir beim Restaurant unser zweites Auto stehen, gehen wir weiter bachab (4. Abschnitt) und steigen bei einem Kabel, das den Barranco kreuzt, links hinaus auf einen deutlichen Pfad, der uns zur Eisenbahn- und Straßen-Brücke und damit zu Restaurant und Auto bringt.
Haben wir unser einziges Auto oben stehen, die den steigen wir nach der R 17 (letzter Abseiler am Ende des 3. Abschnitts) rechts die kleine Trockenrinne klettersteigartig hinauf. Die früer hier zu findenden Stahlkabel wurden ersetzt durch Eisenstifte mit Querstift, die in ihrer kontinuierlichhen Abfolgr das Klettern wesentlich erleichtern. Oben folgen wir den Fußspuren, die weiter aufwärts zunächst zu einer Piste führen. Auf dieser links und hinauf zur Straße. Dort dann rechts und zum Auto.
