Exit the A26 highway at Pieve Vergonte and turn left towards Anzola. Once in Rumianca, enter the village and follow Via delle Alpi, which turns right within the village. Continue along a narrow road that begins to climb. The road becomes a dirt track, very steep and rough in places. After several hairpin bends, on a flatter stretch, you will find a few cabins with a small chapel and a water fountain. This is a convenient parking spot; alternatively, continue through two more hairpin bends (road conditions worsen) until reaching a clearing with the obvious entrance of a closed tunnel.

If you parked further down, follow the road up to the tunnel. Take a faint trail to the left of the entrance that traverses the hillside through the woods, climbing gently. Follow the trail—faint at first, then becoming clearer with a few equipped sections—until reaching the streambed. This is the maintenance path for the water intake.

After the last small rappel/toboggan, the canyon opens up significantly. Look for a trail on the left—climbing at first, then leveling off—that heads up into the woods. After passing a cluster of cabins below on the right, you reach a junction. Turn right to climb briefly to the tunnel entrance, or left to descend to the road and shortly after back to the small chapel.

It poses no particular difficulties, except in case of high water flow, usually early in the season or after heavy rainfall. The water flow can only be evaluated at the start. Hydroelectric water intake at the start.
