Von Windischgarsten aus der Strasse Richtung Hengstpass folgen, bis man Rosenau erreicht. Ausrüstung und BeifahrerInnen können beim Start des Zustiegs (siehe GPS Koordinaten 'Wegpunkt') ausgeladen werden. Dort wurde auch ein kleiner Unterstand mit (versperrtem) Klo von Canyoning Agenturen eingerichtet. Parkende Canyonauten sind dort allerdings nicht erwünscht, der Parkplatz ist einige hundert Meter die Straße runter, siehe Koordinaten bzw. angehängtes Bild.

From Windischgarsten, follow the road towards Hengstpass until you reach Rosenau. Equipment and passengers can be unloaded at the start of the access (see GPS coordinates 'Waypoint'). A small shelter with a (locked) toilet has also been set up there by canyoning agencies. However, parked canyoneers are not welcome there, the parking lot is a few hundred meters down the road, see coordinates or attached picture.

Vom Parkplatz zurück zum Unterstand und von dort dem markierten Wanderweg zum Canyon folgen. Der gut eingerichtete und mit Seilgeländer gesicherte Wanderweg führt auf der orographisch rechten Seite des Baches bis zum Einstieg - einige Abzweigungen führen zu diversen Seilbrücken die für den Klettersteig in der Schlucht eingerichtet wurden.

From the parking lot back to the shelter and from there follow the marked hiking trail to the canyon. The well-maintained hiking trail, secured with rope traverses, leads along the orographic right-hand side of the stream to the entry point - several branches lead to various rope bridges that have been set up for the via ferrata in the canyon.

Gut eingerichte, viel begangene Klamm. Es führt auch ein Klettersteig (nicht öffentlich begehbar) durch die Felswände der Klamm. Die Standplätze sind alle mit Plaketten markiert und durchnummeriert - oben startet man bei #10, bis man unten die #2 erreicht. (#1 konnte vom Schreiber nicht gefunden werden.) Im oberen Teil wechseln Wasserfälle bis 18m, Abkletter- und Rutschpassagen sowie Engstellen einander ab. Unten folgt nach einem flachen 45m Wasserfall (Standplatz #3) ein flacher 60m Wasserfall (Standplatz #2). Bei Standplatz #3 darauf achten sich die 45m direkt bis zum Standplatz #2 abzuseilen und nicht schon nach dem steilen Teil des Wasserfalls (ca. 20m) auszuhängen, der Weg zum Standplatz #2 ist sehr rutschig und gefährlich. Den nicht allzu interessanten 60m Wasserfall kann man über ein fix installiertes Seilgeländer umgehen, das sich direkt bei Standplatz #2 befindet und sich somit die 2x 60m Seil ersparen.

Well-equipped, much frequented gorge. There is also a via ferrata (not open to the public) through the rock faces of the gorge. The belays are all marked with plaques and numbered consecutively - start at at the top you start at #10 until you reach #2 at the bottom. (#1 could not be found by the writer). In the upper part, waterfalls up to 18m, downclimbs, slides and narrow passages alternate. At the bottom, a shallow 45m waterfall (belay #3) is followed by a shallow 60m waterfall (belay #2). At belay station #3, make sure you rappel the 45m directly to belay station #2 and don't unhook after the steep part of the waterfall (approx. 20m), as the path to belay station #2 is very slippery and dangerous. The not too interesting 60m waterfall can be bypassed via a fixed rope traverse, which is located directly at belay #2 and thus saves the 2x 60m rope.
