Beim Aufstieg auf eine Höhe von 660 m überquert man die Carbonere und von hier aus kann man den Abstieg des unteren Teils beginnen. Nach der Furt halten Sie sich an der Kreuzung links und fahren weiter bis auf eine Höhe von 850 m, wo der obere Abschnitt beginnt.

Bei Hochwasser des Cordevole-Flusses verlassen Sie den Fluss an der Brücke bei 560 Metern und nehmen den Weg links zu den Minen von Val Imperina. Alternativ können Sie den Weg rechts zur Festung nehmen, allerdings führt ein steiler Anstieg zur alten Straße nach Agordo.
