Wir steuern auf der N193 (Ajaccio - Corte) die Ortschaft Bocognano an. Entweder rund 40km von Ajaccio aus oder etwa 41 km von Corte über den Col de Vizzavona (1183m üNN). Am östlichen Ortsausgang folgen wir der Wegweisung "Richiusa" und nehmen die kleine Straße in nördlicher Richtung bergab. Nach 950m biegen wir wenige Meter vor Erreichen des Ortsteils Busso links hinunter ab und kommen nach weiteren 700m zu einem kleinen E-Werk am Ufer der Gravona. Hier stellen wir das Auto ab.

We head for the village of Bocognano on the N193 (Ajaccio - Corte). Either about 40km from Ajaccio or about 41km from Corte over the Col de Vizzavona (1183m above sea level). At the eastern exit of the town, we follow the sign "Richiusa" and take the small road downhill in a northerly direction. After 950m we turn left downhill a few meters before reaching the hamlet of Busso and after another 700m we arrive at a small electric plant on the bank of the Gravona. Here we park the car.

Wir queren die Gravona an das nördliche Ufer und folgen, uns rechts haltend, dem Weg in nördlicher Richtung. Nach etwa 250m nehmen wir bei der Verzweigung den rechts hinab führenden Weg, queren die Cardiccia/Richiusa un steigen am anderen Ufer etwa 25 Min. den Hang aufwärts. Auf einem Geländeabsatz in etwa 800m Höhe verzweigt sich der Weg erneut. Links (N) ginge es zur Bergerie Matone und damit zum Canyon Richiusa; wir gehen rechts einen zum Teil undeutlichen Pfad. Dieser steigt gleichmäßig leicht an. Dort, wo links hinauf deutliche Spuren führen, bleiben wir in der bisher eingeschlagenen Richtung auf kaum erkennbaren Spuren (evtl. Steinmännchen). Die Spur wird sukzessive wieder deutlicher und nach etwa 500m (ca. 25 Min.) steigen wir dann an geeigneter Stelle vor einem Felsriegel weglos rechts hinunter in den Bach.

We cross the Gravona to the northern bank and, keeping to the right, follow the path in a northerly direction. After about 250m, at the fork, take the path leading down to the right, cross the Cardiccia/Richiusa and ascend the slope on the other bank for about 25 minutes. The path branches off again on a ledge about 800m above sea level. To the left (N) would be Bergerie Matone and thus Canyon Richiusa; we take a partly indistinct path to the right. This path climbs gently and evenly. Where clear tracks lead up to the left, we stay in the direction we have taken so far on barely recognizable tracks (possibly cairns). The tracks gradually become clearer again and after about 500m (approx. 25 minutes) we then descend to the right into the stream at a suitable point in front of a rocky ledge.

Im offenen Bachbett abklettern, einige Rutschmöglichkeiten, dann die attraktive Verengung mit Abseilern.

Downclimb in the open streambed, some slides, then the attractive constriction with rappel.

Nach dem Ende der Engstelle etwa 10 Min. Marsch im Bachbett bis zur Gravona, dann in und am Rande der Gravona noch einmal 30 Min. bis zum Parkplatz auf der linken Seite. Nicht den Gegenhang hinauf! Wo linkerhand am Ufer ein Wild-/Weide-Zaun bis fast bis in's Flussbett reicht, können wir links aussteigen und kommen direkt auf einen Waldweg, der immer parallel zum Fluß auf gleichbleibender Höhe zur Teerstraße führt. Auf dieser wenige Meter hinauf zum Parkplatz.

After the exit of the narrow section, walk for about 10 minutes in the streambed to Gravona, then in and along the edge of Gravona for another 30 minutes to the parking lot on the left. Do not go up the opposite slope! Where a game/pasture fence on the left bank reaches almost as far as the river bed, we can get out on the left and come directly onto a forest path that always runs parallel to the river at a constant height to the tarred road. Follow this for a few meters up to the parking lot.
