Von Nizza durchs Var-Tal nach Norden, dann nach Westen und zuletzt wieder nach Norden bis zur Gorge de Daluis (über die D 2202 Richtung Guillaumes). Nach dem Ort Daluis steigt die Straße stark an, um die Schlucht Gorge de Daluis in 100 bis 200 m Höhe über dem Var wildromantisch zu durchqueren. Ungefähr 22 km nach dem oberen Schluchtende (wir haben Guillaume u. St. Martin d'Entraunes durchfahren) kommen wir nach Entraunes. Vor der Straßenbrücke über den Var biegen wir links auf einen Parkplatz ab, wo wir das Auto abstellen.

From Nice through the Var valley to the north, then west and finally north again to the Gorge de Daluis (via the D 2202 towards Guillaumes). After the village of Daluis, the road rises sharply to cross the canyon Gorge de Daluis at 100 to 200 m above the Var wild and romantic. About 22 km after the upper canyon exit (we have passed through Guillaume u. St. Martin d'Entraunes) we come to Entraunes. Before the road bridge over the Var we turn left to a parking lot where we leave the car.

Wir gehen wieder auf der Straße nach Süden und biegen nach etwa 200 m auf ein Sträßchen rechts ab (Markierungspunkt 256 - 1260 m ü.NN)). Am Markierungspunkt 258 (vorbei an 257) nehmen wir den beschilderten Pfad ("Clue du Chaudan, Col de Champs, Colmars" - GR 52a), queren einen Kanal (unser Rückweg) und erreichen einen Aussichtspunkt, wo man (etwas unterhalb) auch einen Blick in den Canyon werfen kann. Weiter geht es, bis wir den Einstieg bei der Brücke über den Bach erreichen (1470 m ü.NN).

We go south again on the road and after about 200 m we turn right on a little road (marker 256 - 1260 m a.s.l.)). At marker 258 (past 257) we take the signposted path ("Clue du Chaudan, Col de Champs, Colmars" - GR 52a), cross a canal (our way back) and reach a viewpoint where (a little below) we can also have a look into the canyon. Continue until we reach the entry at the bridge over the stream (1470 m a.s.l.).
