In Tolmezzo Richtung der Ortschaft Illegio. Auf der linken Seite kommt eine markante und beliebte Kletterwand und kurz zuvor geht recht eine Schotterstraße rein. Bei der Kapelle vorbei und parken am großen Parkplatz der Schießanlage.

In Tolmezzo, head towards the village of Illegio. There is a prominent and popular climbing wall on the left and a gravel road on the right just before it. Pass the chapel and park in the large parking lot of the shooting range.

Vom Auto aus entweder den Bach rauf oder entlang der Schießanlage Richtung westen zum Canyon. Ein gut ausgetretener Weg ( orographisch links, in Openmaps eingezeichnet), mit Markierung geht immer entlang der Schlucht hoch. Wir haben uns in einer markanten Wegkurve bei Höhenmeter 740, 2mal runtergeseilt. Viele Bäume geht es immer steil, die Wiese entlang in den Bach. Die Italienische Beschreibung geht weiter rauf und dann in den Bach hinein. Siehe nächster Absatz. Info 2: von InfoCanyon by AIC, ( Ital / deut Übersetzung). Folgen Sie dem Feldweg, der kurz nach den Schießständen zum Schießstand führt. Folgen Sie dann einem Pfad, der rechts zum Bach führt und anschließend in den Wald mündet (rote Markierungen). Folgen Sie dem steilen Pfad, biegen Sie an einer Kreuzung rechts ab und steigen Sie in steilen Serpentinen bis auf eine Höhe von 914 m auf. Dort fällt der Weg leicht ab und durchquert ein ausgetrocknetes Becken (ca. 1 Stunde). Der Abstieg von der Wasserscheide muss vorsichtig erfolgen, wobei auch das Seil an natürlichen Kletterhilfen verwendet werden muss, um das Flussbett unserer Route auf einer Höhe von 733 Metern (ca. 40 Fuß) zu erreichen.

From the car either up the stream or along the shooting range in a westerly direction to the canyon. A well-trodden path (orographic left, marked in Openmaps) with markings always goes up along the canyon. We roped down twice at a prominent bend in the path at an altitude of 740 meters. There are many trees and the path is always steep, along the meadows into the stream. The Italian description goes further up and then into the stream. See next paragraph. Info 2: from InfoCanyon by AIC, (Italian / German translation). Follow the dirt road that leads to the shooting range shortly after the shooting ranges. Then follow a path that leads to the stream on the right and then into the forest (red markings). Follow the steep path, turn right at a crossroads and ascend in steep serpentines to an altitude of 914 m. There the path drops slightly and crosses a dry basin (approx. 1 hour). The descent from the watershed must be done carefully, also using the ropes on natural climbing aids to reach the riverbed of our route at an altitude of 733 meters (approx. 40 feet).
