Von Morbegno nimmt man die SP 8 zum Pass San Marco. Sie führt in südlicher Richtung in Serpentinen aufwärts in das Valle Campoerbolo. Nach 10 km (ab Morbegno) durchqueren wir die Ortschaft Albaredo Per San Marco. 2 km nach dieser Ortschaft kommen wir zu einer Haarnadelkurve nach links und stellen in diesem Bereich das Auto ab.
From Morbegno take the SP 8 to the mountain pass of San Marco. It goes up in a southerly direction in serpentines to the Valle Campoerbolo. After 10 km (from Morbegno) we cross the village of Albaredo Per San Marco. 2 km after this village we come to a hairpin bend to the left and we park the car in this area.

Am oberen Ausgang der Haarnadelkurve nehmen wir den Pfad, der in südöstlicher Richtung hinaufführt zum Kirchlein Madonna delle Grazie (1160 m üNN). Von hier geht es auf der ehemaligen Straße zum Passo di San Marco in südöstlicher Richtung weiter, dann in Serpentinen bergab. Wir queren einen Wildbach und kommen bald zur Straßenbrücke über die Pedena.
Man kann hier unterhalb der Brücke bei einer Wasserableitung einsteigen, wenn man die Tour um eine gute Stunde verkürzen will.
Andernfalls nimmt man jenseits der Brücke den Steig am Bach entlang aufwärts bis auf Höhe 1120 üNN (ab Brücke gut 15 Min.).
At the top of the hairpin bend, take the path that leads up in a south-easterly direction to the Madonna delle Grazie church (1160 m above sea level). From here, continue south-east along the former road to the Passo di San Marco, then descend in hairpin bends. We cross a torrent and soon reach the road bridge over the Pedena.
If you want to shorten the tour by a good hour, you can get on here below the bridge at a water drainage.
Otherwise, take the path on the other side of the bridge along the stream up to an altitude of 1120 m above sea level (a good 15 minutes from the bridge).

Etwa 150m vor der Mündung des Pedena in den Bitto di Albaredo findet sich rechts und etwas oberhalb der Pedena eine kleine bewaldete und begraste Schotterterrasse. Ziemlich an deren Ostende beginnt eine unscheinbare Spur, die bald als alter Pfad erkennbar wird und hinaufführt zur Straße.
2012 war an einem Baum die Rinde etwas abgeschlagen als Markierung. Zusätzlich haben wir noch 2 Steinmännchen gesetzt.
About 150m before the Pedena flows into the Bitto di Albaredo, there is a small wooded and grassy gravel terrace to the right and slightly above the Pedena. An inconspicuous track begins at its eastern end, which soon becomes recognizable as an old path and leads up to the road.
In 2012, the bark had been chipped off a tree as a marker. We also placed 2 cairns.
