Man kann die Wassermenge des Zuflusses von der Bundesstraße (in der ersten Kehre nach der Galerie oberhalb des Heldenfriedhofes) kontrollieren; viel Holz; Kalkgestein.

You can control the amount of water in the tributary from the main road (in the first haipin bend after the gallery above the Heroes' Cemetery); lots of wood; limestone.

Von Kötschach-Mauthen Richtung Plöckenpaß fahren --> die kurvenreiche Passstraße hochfahren und beim Parkplatz von Hydrosolar den 1. Pkw parken --> mit dem 2. Pkw die Passstraße weiter hochfahren bis zum Plöckenhaus --> hier am großen Parkplatz gegenüber parken.

From Kötschach-Mauthen drive in the direction of Plöckenpaß --> drive up the winding pass road and park the 1st car at the Hydrosolar parking lot --> continue up the pass road with the 2nd car until you reach Plöckenhaus --> park here at the large parking lot opposite.

Vom Parkplatz geht man über die Wiese vorbei an einem großen Baum Richtung Wald --> am Waldrand über den Zaun (Stacheldraht) steigen und über einen schmalen Pfad in den Bach abstiegen --> Einstieg auf ca. 1240m.

From the parking lot, walk across the meadow past a large tree towards the forest --> at the edge of the forest, climb over the fence (barbed wire) and descend via a narrow path into the stream --> entry at about 1240m.

Am Anfang folgen ein paar kurze Rutsch- und Kletterpassagen aufeinander (zum Teil auch Abseilmöglichkeiten) --> weiter folgen kurze, zum Teil durch Holz verwinkelte/ verblockte Abseilstellen --> nach einem Zufluss von li folgt die letzte und höchste Abseilstelle (30m) --> zum Schluss muss man noch den Stausee durchschwimmen.

At the beginning, a few short slides and climbing passages follow each other (partly also abseiling possibilities) --> further short abseils follow, partly twisted/blocked by wood --> after an inflow from the left follows the last and highest abseil (30m) --> at the end you still have to swim through the reservoir.

Am Ende des Stausees re etwas mühsam über einen Steg und Leiter austeigen --> re über die Staumauer geht es zum Fußweg --> diese bis zum Parkplatz am Kraftwerk von Hydrosolar folgen (1. Pkw).

At the end of the reservoir exit right somewhat laboriously over a footbridge and ladder --> right over the dam wall to the footpath --> follow this to the parking lot at the Hydrosolar power plant (1st car).
