Auf der parallel zur Autobahn verlaufenden N 532 von Grenoble in Richtung Romans-sur-Isere bis Rovon. Hier links und auf der D 35 hoch in Richtung Rencurel. Der Canyon des Ecouges ist ebenfalls ausgeschildert. Die Straße führt zuerst durch lichten Wald hoch und überquert schließlich unseren Bach auf einer Brücke unterhalb des 65-m-Falls. Hier das erste Auto parken. Mit einem zweiten Auto oder zu Fuß weiter auf dieser Straße nach oben. Man durchquert ein Tunnel und erreicht das obere Ende der Schlucht. Hier links über die Brücke Pont de Chabert und rechts auf der großen Fläche das zweite Auto parken
Take the N 532 running parallel to the highway from Grenoble in the direction of Romans-sur-Isere as far as Rovon. Turn left here and take the D 35 up towards Rencurel. The Canyon des Ecouges is also signposted. The road first leads up through sparse forest and finally crosses our stream on a bridge below the 65 m drop. Park your first car here. Continue up this road in a second car or on foot. You cross a tunnel and reach the exit of the canyon. Turn left here over the Pont de Chabert bridge and park the second car on the large area on the right

Recorrido (3 h): ➜
Eindrucksvolle und ggf. (bei entspr. Wasserdurchsatz) anforderungsreiche Tour durch die Westwände des Vercors.\nDer Wasserstand zu Beginn der Tour sollte nicht mehr als 1 m³/sec betragen.\nAlle Abseilstrecken sind so eingebaut, dass auch ein Abseilen außerhalb der Wasserlinie möglich ist. Dazu müssen aber an zwei Stellen freihängend Traversen am Seil in senkrechter Wand von der oberen Wasserfallkante weg nach vorne durchgeführt werden.\nWenn sich die Schlucht öffnet, sind eine Bachquerung von rechts nach links und eine direkt an der Kante des 65-m-Falls von links nach rechts über das glitschige Bachbett durchzuführen. Hier unbedingt die Querung ausreichend absichern (Tödlicher Unfall eines Canyoningguides am 17. 08. 2002).\nDer große Wasserfall kann (orograf. rechts nach etwa 35m auf angenehmem Zwischenstand) gebrochen werden.
Impressive and possibly demanding tour through the west walls of the Vercors (if the water flow is sufficient).\nThe water level at the beginning of the tour should not exceed 1 m³/sec.\nAll rappelling routes are installed in such a way that rappelling outside the waterline is also possible. To do this, however, free-hanging traverses must be made on the rope in two places in a vertical wall from the upper edge of the waterfall to the front.\nWhen the canyon opens, a stream crossing must be made from right to left and one directly at the edge of the 65 m fall from left to right over the slippery streambed. Make sure you secure the crossing adequately here (fatal accident of a canyoning guide on 17. 08. 2002).\nThe large waterfall can be broken (orographic. right after about 35m on a pleasant intermediate level).

Bon, clairement le Pas était la partie la plus engagée de notre journée XD mais ça passe. On a mis 1h15 à rejoindre le haut de la première cascade du Gaz. Les sentiers ne sont pas bien marqués sur Iphigénie.
