Von Reutte Richtung Süden ins hintere Lechtal bis Steeg fahren und dann weiter in Richtung Warth. Nach der Beschilderung Prenten führt die Straße leicht bergauf über eine Brücke die über den Lech führt. Gleich nach der Brücke parkt man das Auto vor einer Holzscheune (hinter der Scheune ist auch ein großer Schotterparkplatz (jedoch privat).

From Reutte head south into the rear Lechtal valley as far as Steeg and then continue towards Warth. After the signs for Prenten, the road leads slightly uphill over a bridge that crosses the Lech. Immediately after the bridge, park your car in front of a wooden barn (there is also a large gravel parking place behind the barn (but private).

Hinter der Scheune (Schotterparkplatz) folgt man der Forststraße rechts abwärts bis zur ersten Kehre (hier kommt auch der Pfad vom Ausstieg rechts hoch). Man geht hier den linken Pfad (Weg 432) bis zum Jägerstand hoch. Um zum oberen Teil der Schlucht zu gelangen folgt man den Pfad links am Jägerstand vorbei. Danach immer rechtshaltend parallel der Schlucht entlang ins Hochalptal. Kurz nach der mittleren Hochalpe auf ca. 1540m steigt man in das Bachbett absteigen (Quellablauf).

Behind the barn (gravel parking place), follow the forest road to the right downhill until you reach the first haipin bend (this is also where the trail from the exit comes up on the right). Take the left trail (Trail 432) up to the hunting blind. To reach the upper part of the canyon, follow the path to the left past the hunting blind. Then keep to the right, following the canyon parallel to it into the Hochalptal valley. Shortly after the middle Hochalpe at approx. 1540m, descend into the streambed (spring outlet).

Die erste Hälfte im Hochalpbach ist offen und diskontinuierlich mit kleinen Stufen die gerutscht, gesprungen oder (bis max. 12m) abgeseilt werden. Die zweite Hälfte (ab Plakette Nr. 7) ist dann vertikaler, eingeschnittener und technisch anspruchsvoller. Einige Abseiler sind direkt in der Wasserführung mit kräftiger Dusche und sollten bei höherem Wasserstand nicht unterschätzt werden. Vier ca. 25m Abseilstellen, nur von kleinen Stufen unterbrochen folgen ohne große Wegstrecke aufeinander. Nach der letzten Abseilstelle kommen ein paar kleine Stufen, die je nach Wassertiefe gesprungen oder abgeklettert werden. Um den Fischereiverband nicht zu ärgern endet die Tour auf ca. 1140m vor der letzten 6m Stufe in den Lech.

The first half in the Hochalpbach is open and discontinuous with small steps that can be slid, jumped or rappelled (up to max. 12m). The second half (from badge no. 7) is then more vertical, more incised and technically more demanding. Some rappels are directly in the water with a powerful shower and should not be underestimated at higher water levels. Four approx. 25m abseils, interrupted only by small steps, follow each other without much distance. After the last abseiling point, there are a few small steps that can be jumped or downclimbed depending on the water depth. To avoid annoying the fishing association, the tour exits at approx. 1140m before the last 6m step into the Lech.

Vor der letzten Stufe (in den Lech) steigt man auf ca. 1140m (wegen Fischerei) rechts aus der Schlucht aus. Hier folgt man den kleinen Pfad über den Rücken hoch bis zur Forststraße bei der Kehre und dieser zurück zum Parkplatz.

Before the last step (into the Lech), exit the canyon to the right at approx. 1140m (due to fishing). Follow the small path over the ridge up to the forest road at the hairpin bend and follow it back to the parking lot.
