Von Granada auf der A 92 in Richtung Murcia, bei der Autobahnverzweigung nördlich Guadix weiter auf der A 92 N (Richtung Murcia) bis zur Ausfahrt Baul (55 km ab Granada, 24 km ab der Verzweigung). Hier ab und auf einer kleinen Gemeindeverbindungsstraße über Baco Olivar nach Cuevas del Campo. Beim Staudamm kommt man auf die A 315. Von Cuevas del Campo weiter nordwärts auf der A 315 nach Pozo Alcon. Dort rechts ab auf die A 326 und noch etwa 5 km, vorbei am Campingplatz zur Linken, bis ein Schild links zur 'Presa pantano de la Bolera' weist. Hier an geeigneter Stelle Auto abstellen.
From Granada on the A 92 towards Murcia, at the highway junction north of Guadix continue on the A 92 N (towards Murcia) as far as the Baul exit (55 km from Granada, 24 km from the junction). Turn off here and take a small municipal road via Baco Olivar to Cuevas del Campo. At the dam, take the A 315. From Cuevas del Campo, continue north on the A 315 to Pozo Alcon. There turn right onto the A 326 and continue for about 5 km, passing the campsite on the left, until a sign points left to the 'Presa pantano de la Bolera'. Park your car in a suitable place here.

Die Schlucht ist großartig, wenn Wasser fließt oder zumindest die Gumpen voll sind. Aber auch in trockenem Zustand kann sie noch beeindrucken. Nach der hier angegebenen Ausstiegsstelle kann man noch gute 2 Std. weiter gehen und nach einem offenen Teil eine zweite Engstelle (Cerrada del Tio Pio) durchschreiten. Dies lohnt sich aber nur bei Wasserdurchsatz. Nicht klar ist, ob dieser 2. Teil der kommerziell angebotene 'Peralta'-Canyon ist. Bei einer Integralbegehung lohnt sich eine Autoumsetzung, sofern man die Möglichkeit hat. Näheres unter den angegebenen Fundstellen. Warnung: oberhalb Stausee ! Begehung Anfang Nov. 2006. In der Nähe eine Reihe weiterer Canyons, jeweils mit Genehmigungspflicht: Utrero, Tiscar sowie die 6 Canyons der Sierra de Castril.
The canyon is magnificent when water is flowing or at least the pools are full. But it can also be impressive when dry. After the exit point indicated here, you can continue for a good 2 hours and walk through a second narrow section (Cerrada del Tio Pio) after an open part. However, this is only worthwhile when the water is flowing. It is not clear whether this 2nd part is the commercially offered 'Peralta' canyon. For an integral ascent, a shuttle is worthwhile if you have the opportunity. For more details, see the locations given. Warning: above the reservoir! A number of other canyons in the vicinity, each requiring a permit: Utrero, Tiscar and the 6 canyons of the Sierra de Castril.

Nach Heraustreten aus den hohen Wänden der Schlucht rechts hinaus und am Nordrand des sich in nordwestlicher Richtung hinaufziehenden Grabens aufwärts, bis man bei einer verrohrten Wasserleitung auf eine Piste stößt, die hinaufführt zur A 326. Bei der Straßenbrücke zu dieser rechts hinauf und die Straße entlang - vorbei am Campingplatz - zurück zum Auto.
After emerging from the high walls of the canyon, turn right and ascend along the northern edge of the ditch running north-west until you come to a dirt road at a piped water pipe that leads up to the A 326. At the road bridge to this road, turn right uphill and along the road - past the campsite - back to the car.
