Von der Autobahn N 340 (Malaga - Nerja) bei Velez Malaga ab und nordwärts auf der A 335 bis Trapiche. Von hier weiter in gleicher Richtung auf der C 335 über Los Vados, bis die MA 125 rechts hinaufzieht nach Canillas del Aceituno.Am Rondell vor dem Ort rechts weiter in Richtung Sedella. Ungefähr 2,5 km nach dem nächsten Rondell (südöstl. von Canillas) kommt man zu einem Picnic-Platz ('La Rahige') mit großer Tafel ('Sierra Almijara'). Hier Auto abstellen. Etwa 100 m weiter würde die Straße "unseren" Bach kreuzen.
Leave the N 340 highway (Malaga - Nerja) at Velez Malaga and head north on the A 335 to Trapiche. From here continue in the same direction on the C 335 via Los Vados until the MA 125 goes up on the right to Canillas del Aceituno, at the traffic circle before the village turn right towards Sedella. About 2.5 km after the next traffic circle (south-east of Canillas) you come to a picnic area ('La Rahige') with a large sign ('Sierra Almijara'). Park your car here. About 100 m further on, the road would cross "our" stream.

Wir steigen hinauf zum Picnicplatzes, dort auf einer Treppe, später auf einem undeutlichen Pfad aufwärts. Nach fast 30 Min. kommen wir zu einem kleinen Häuschen ('Caseta'). Links an diesem vorbei durch den Einschnitt kommt man auf eine Wasserleitung, der man hoch über dem Almanchares folgt, bis man den Bach erreicht. Einmal ist die Wasserleitungsbasis abegerutscht. Hier ist ein Umweg oberhalb der Leitung angezeigt.
We climb up to the picnic area, there on a staircase, later on an indistinct path upwards. After almost 30 minutes we come to a small house ('caseta'). Passing it on the left through the gulch, you come to a water pipe, which you follow high above the Almanchares until you reach the stream. At one point the base of the water pipe has slipped. A detour above the pipeline is indicated here.
