Coșutelor Valley, which carved the Zgăul Vintilanilor canyon, originates in the Mehedinți mountains and feeds into the Coșuștea stream. With the backdrop of the Mehedinți Mountains, the cut between the slopes reveals a steep, continuous terrain almost till the confluence. Despite its initial impression of a steep valley with many drops, the river bed surprises with an invigorating landscape among the steep limestone slopes making it a true canyon worth exploring.

Vor der Kulisse des Mehedinți-Gebirges zeigt der Einschnitt zwischen den Hängen ein steiles, durchgehendes Gelände fast bis zur Einmündung. Trotz des anfänglichen Eindrucks eines steilen Tals mit vielen Abstürzen überrascht das Flussbett mit einer belebenden Landschaft zwischen den steilen Kalksteinhängen, die es zu einem echten Canyon macht, den es zu erkunden lohnt.
