Anfahrt:
Take the exit for Scurelle from State Highway SS47. Leave your car near the Carzano hydroelectric plant https://maps.app.goo.gl/hLFYUTA8M1a3RtPp9 for the return trip. The entrance parking lot is located along the road to “Val Campelle,” following the signs for Rifugio Crucolo.
Zustieg (20 min):
From the parking lot, walk uphill along the main road for about 100 meters. Before the right-hand curve, climb over the guardrail and descend along the left bank of the debris channel. Follow the yellow ropes tied to the trees (photo) until you reach a white fixed rope (photo), which leads into the debris channel via an easy descent. Continue along the debris channel to the stream bed, then descend downstream to the artificial weir that marks the beginning of the canyon.
Tour (5 h):
The route begins with a few dives and short rappels leading to the central part of the canyon, which is the most technically challenging section. This stretch involves traversing a handrail over 10 meters long, first uphill and then downhill; at the end of the handrail, there is a 5-meter rappel down to an awkward belay station. From here, a subsequent 10-meter rappel takes you to a small ledge from which you jump. Afterward, the canyon continues more gently, alternating between walking and rappelling (some on a trail out of the water). DETAILS: https://pdflink.to/8839ee13/
Rückweg (15 min):
When the stream levels out and becomes uninteresting, you’ll first come to the trail (a rope tied to a tree on the right) and then the road leading back to the hydroelectric plant.
