Jumps, slides, and little rope use

From Sordevolo, head toward the hamlet of Prera and park just before the houses, near a bridge with a few parking spots.

Continue on foot along the uphill road until you find, on the left, a trail that follows an irrigation channel. Follow it for about 15 minutes to its end, where it meets the Elvo stream (there’s a trail with canyoning signs on the left).

From the end of the trail, descend toward the stream where you’ll find the first 4 m drop with an anchor point. Continue through a small tunnel with a slide and another 4 m jump. Proceed easily until you reach a wooden bridge; a few meters further, you’ll find the first large slab. A sequence of easy slides leads to a 7 m toboggan (anchor on the right), which takes you to the second large slab. At the end of the pool there’s a 6 m jump, difficulty A4. Continue easily for about 50 m, then climb up to the left (fixed ropes) to reach the smooth slab with another small 2 m jump. Here the stream narrows into a gorge, and the most enjoyable option is to follow the via ferrata for about 200 m to the large slab, where you can abseil 10 m or jump (A4). Continue in the water and climb left for a 5 m jump. The final 4 m jump leads to the exit on the left; continue easily until the pool where the Janca stream flows in from the right.

To return to the car, follow the via ferrata path that runs along the left side of the stream for 10 minutes, then find a small steep trail on the left (yellow sign marked via di fuga). From there, it’s about 15 minutes back to the car.
