Nice, wild route with numerous jumps and slides.

Downstream access: exit the A26 motorway at Verbania and continue for a few kilometers. Pass a roundabout, then turn left towards Premeno. Upon reaching Trobaso (Verbania), turn left at the second roundabout and continue, following the signs for Valle Intrasca. Enter the valley and, immediately after a roundabout, enter Ramello, where you cross the stream on a bridge. Park nearby or turn right down between the houses (narrow road), heading back towards the stream to another parking area (Google SW). Upstream access: return to the roundabout and turn right towards Caprezzo. Once in the village, turn right onto Via dei Ronchi, following signs for Cappella di Porta. Continue for a few kilometers until you reach a pull-off on the left, where you will see the end of a covered water canal.

Follow the water canal until you reach a cluster of alpine huts. From here, head down through the woods following faint tracks until you reach the riverbed.

The stream walks are easy It is a low-commitment canyon with numerous escape routes.

Exit at the village, just below the parking areas.

Two water intakes: one upstream of the entry point and one halfway along the route, which further reduces the flow. Manually operated, but with an unknown schedule.
