Drive past Domodossola heading north and continue until the junction for Val Formazza. Pass through the villages of Crodo and Baceno until reaching Premia. Continue beyond the town center to the hamlet of San Rocco, parking near an outdoor event and festival area.

Fahren Sie an Domodossola vorbei in Richtung Norden und weiter bis zur Abzweigung nach Val Formazza. Durchqueren Sie die Dörfer Crodo und Baceno, bis Sie Premia erreichen. Fahren Sie am Ortszentrum vorbei bis zum Weiler San Rocco und parken Sie in der Nähe eines Veranstaltungs- und Festivalgeländes im Freien.

Follow the signs for trail G10 towards Busin di Sopra / Alpe Groppo. The trail ascends the left bank of the gorge; it is marked but rarely used, featuring steep sections and stone steps. Pass the Bochi alpine pasture at an elevation of 930 m and continue just beyond to approximately 1000 m. Here, at a rock face, a faint path breaks off, traversing mid-slope to the south. Follow this mostly flat path past two huts (located roughly 20 meters lower down), then through a characteristic pass over a semi-horizontal rock slab with carved steps. The path then gently climbs mid-slope through the forest and partly along wide ledges until reaching another small hut at 1120 m. From here, climb further toward the now obvious gorge to a horizontal ledge at 1170 m. Descend via a 30-meter rappel off a tree, landing on a flat rock platform directly above a 40-meter waterfall.

Folgen Sie den Wegweisern zum Wanderweg G10 in Richtung Busin di Sopra / Alpe Groppo. Der Weg führt am linken Ufer der Schlucht hinauf; er ist markiert, wird aber nur selten begangen und weist steile Abschnitte sowie Steinstufen auf. Man passiert die Alm „Bochi“ auf 930 m Höhe und geht noch ein Stück weiter bis auf etwa 1000 m. Hier, an einer Felswand, zweigt ein kaum erkennbarer Pfad ab, der auf halber Höhe in Richtung Süden verläuft. Folgen Sie diesem größtenteils ebenen Weg an zwei Hütten vorbei (die sich etwa 20 Meter tiefer liegen) und dann durch einen charakteristischen Pass über eine halbhorizontale Felsplatte mit eingemeißelten Stufen. Der Weg steigt dann sanft auf halber Höhe durch den Wald und teilweise entlang breiter Felsvorsprünge an, bis er eine weitere kleine Hütte auf 1120 m erreicht. Von hier aus steigt man weiter in Richtung der nun deutlich erkennbaren Schlucht zu einem horizontalen Felsvorsprung auf 1.170 m hinauf. Der Abstieg erfolgt über eine 30 Meter lange Abseilstrecke an einem Baum, die auf einer flachen Felsplattform direkt über einem 40 Meter hohen Wasserfall endet.

The main pitch, approximately 100 meters long, is split into 3 pitches (fractionated into 3 sections). Due to the proximity of the active quarry (and its heavy blasting and potential falling debris on the lower section), descending this canyon is strictly recommended on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Die Hauptseillänge, die etwa 100 Meter lang ist, ist in drei Seillängen unterteilt (in drei Abschnitte gegliedert). Aufgrund der Nähe zum aktiven Steinbruch (und der dort stattfindenden Sprengarbeiten sowie der Gefahr von herabfallendem Gesteinsmaterial im unteren Abschnitt) wird dringend empfohlen, diesen Canyon ausschließlich samstags und sonntags zu begehen.
