Tiefe, wilde, lange Fortsetzung des Rio superiore, zunächst recht alpin (max. 45-50m) mit immer mehr Vegetation, aber auch Abschnitte mit kompaktem Gestein, Tümpeln und mit viel Glück (kommt alle paar Jahre vor) fließendem Wasser bis zum Ende in der Nähe des Staudamms el Rio.
