Bei genug Wasser Funcanyon mit vielen Sprung- und Rutschmöglichkeiten hinunter zur Vesubie.

Anfahrt:

Von Nizza auf der N 202 nordwärts in Richtung Digne. Nach 20 km rechts ab in das Tal der Vésubie. Auf der D 2565 weitere 8 km (in etwa), bis rechts ein Eisensteg für Fußgänger die Vésubie quert. Einige Meter weiter kann hangseitig neben der Straße das untere Fahrzeug abgestellt werden.\nMit dem zweiten Fahrzeug weiter, bis kurz vor St Jean la Riviere die D 19 in spitzem Winkel rechts hinaufzieht. Auf der D 19 ca. 2,5 km bis zum Weiler Calencon, wo man nach den Häusern parken kann.

Zustieg (5 min):

Vom Parkplatz ( 440 m ü.NN) zieht rechts ein Weglein hinab zum Bach.

Tour (3 h):

Attraktiver Fun- und Sprungcanyon, solange er fließendes Wasser führt.

Rückweg (5 min):

Nicht vollends zur Vesubie hinunter (!), sondern 10 m oberhalb links am Hang entlang zu dem erwähnten Eisensteg über die Vésubie und dann rechts zum unten geparkten Fahrzeug.

The Canyon is really fun and beautiful. After the hydropower Installation the water was cloudy for a few pools. Toller Funcanyon wenn das Wasser passt, viel zu Springen und Rutschen. Wir sind mit Neopren vom Parkplatz des Peira zum Einstieg gewandert (20min Strasse und Wanderweg). Den ersten Teil der noch waldigen Schlucht begeht man über einen oft gesicherten Steig, da hier das Betreten des Bavhbetts wegen Krebsen verboten ist. Wenn sich die Schlucht dann einengt wird's lustig. Knapp vor Schluss quert der Canal des Vesubie die Klamm, das Wasser für die nächsten paar Becken war heute milchig. Rückweg zu Fuß über die Straße (30mim) wobei ein Tunnel durchquert werden muss. Sehr ungut, besser ein zweites Auto unten abstellen
