Nice waterfalls, to do after some rain or even a small flood. Very known with hikers & tourists. Recommended is an early or late start to avoid busy hours and incidents.

Head to the car park at the Hérisson waterfalls. There is a charge for parking between 1 July and 30 September (10 euros per vehicle for 1 to 4 hours, and 15 euros for over 4 hours).

Follow the signposted tourist trail to the top of the Saut de la Forge, the starting point of the race.

On the left most waterfalls can be tackled without too much trouble. There’s an emergency stop between each waterfall;it’s better to take the very popular tourist path that runs alongside the water, between the points of interest.

Head back to the car park via the tourist trail.

It dries up almost completely once the fine weather arrives. It is best to tackle this descent in spring or autumn, at the end of a minor flood.
