Downstream: in Sigirino it is possible to park for max. 24h in the parking lot on Via Vianco (46°04'48.8"N 8°54'53.8"E) or in the smaller parking area on Via Mastarino (46°04'56"N 8°54'48.7"E). Upstream (shuttle): in Mezzovico you can set up a shuttle and drive up the paved road to 758 m a.s.l. (46°05'21"N 8°54'25"E) via Via Monti di Tortoi (municipal permit required).

With shuttle: from the parking at 758 m, hike towards Monti di Mezzovico, keeping left to reach the last alpine huts at Garzon. Several fountains along the way. From here, follow the trail that enters the valley on a gentle traverse until crossing the stream near 1134 m, which is the canyon entry point (46°05'35.6"N 8°53'03.8"E). Approx. 1h, +350 m elevation gain. Without shuttle: starting on foot from Sigirino (440 m), cross the stream on the north side of the village, then keep left to climb along the trail towards Monti di Mezzovico and the parking at 758 m. This adds another +320 m elevation gain and nearly 1h to the approach.

After the last narrows, it is possible to exit immediately on the right bank via a steep slope, reaching the trail that leads to the upper parking in Sigirino, or continue more easily along the streambed until the bridge, where you can exit on the right bank and return to the cars in approx. 5 minutes.

Water intakes on the upper tributaries and a diversion channel before the final narrows. Bewertung der Strömung: an der Sigirino-Brücke bzw. am Beginn der letzten Furt (5 Minuten). Angesichts der Strömung hohen Durchflusses und des technischen Aufwands ist sie nach den Regenfällen generell zu vermeiden.
