| Prio: 3 | PLAYGROUND: Profile Picture Upload Failed Tried to Upload a profile picture for a tutorial - didn't work --> Error Message doesn't state a reason --> most likely due to .heic format? So I also tried with .jpg - also fails with bigger jpg files (14 mb) without a proper reason, same result with the same .jpg with approx 5 mb ---> once resized to 1.5 mb Error message works fine again and states that the picture has to be smaller then 1024 KB. Here are the required system details: 1. *System:* PROD (The live website) 2. *Profile Settings in OC:* English 3. *The Issue:* Even though it is set to English, the website appearance switches to German. 4. *Browser Language:* Hebrew 5. *OS Language:* Hebrew Why does it happens? --- Reply 09.07.2026 17:13:40 by Urs --- Found a likely cause and one you should be able to reproduce reliably: The `search/autocomplete` endpoint (`/search/canyons`) runs without any locale detection, so it always falls back to the app default (`de`) and generates its result links as `/de/canyon/...`. So if you're on an `/en` page (based on your profile setting) and click a search result, you get sent to the German URL, which then switches the whole site to German and stores that in a cookie (sticky). *Repro*: Be on an `/en` page → search for a canyon → click a result → you land on `/de/...` and the UI flips to German. Once that cookie is set to German, it outweighs the other locale sources further down the chain, so even if you manually delete the locale from the URL, the cookie keeps overriding you back. This is a strong candidate since the search feature is relatively new, but I can't say it's the only case of this kind, there may be other spots where locale isn't carried through. can you verify on your side?
