Leave the A12 Genova-Rosignano motorway at the Genova Est exit and follow the signs for Piacenza. Once in Bargagli, take the tunnel leading to Gattorna, in the Fontanabuona Valley. From Gattorna, continue to Monleone di Cicagna and turn left towards Favale di Malvaro. Once in Favale, drive through the village and, before a bridge, turn right towards Alvari. Twenty meters before the bridge, there is a steep dirt road on the right and a small clearing on the left

Climb along the dirt road, and after about a hundred meters, cross the stream on a wooden bridge. Follow the dirt road, which climbs steeply with several switchbacks, to the hamlet of Collo. From there, follow the path halfway up the hill that leads southeast to the stream.

just before the bridge, exit onto the left bank and return to the dirt road.
