Von Nizza aus fahren Sie nach Roquebillière. Fahren Sie hinauf nach Belvédère und weiter 3,5 km durch das Gordolasque-Tal bis zu einer Brücke, die das Tal am Fuße des Ray-Wasserfalls überquert. Parken Sie Ihr Fahrzeug.

From Nice, drive to Roquebillière. Drive up to Belvédère and continue for 3.5 km through the Gordolasque valley until you reach a bridge that crosses the valley at the foot of the Ray waterfall. Park your vehicle.

Zu Fuß weiter auf der Straße 900 m bis zur nächsten Brücke.

Continue on foot along the road for 900 m to the next bridge.

Start hinter der Brücke. R4, dann der große Wasserfall, dessen Abstieg über die linke Ader mit ausreichender Strömung erfolgt. C14, dann C45 mit MC für die Startrinne, schöne Mulde am Ziel. Bei zu starker Strömung kann man von einem Baum oberhalb starten. Eventuell weiter über eine extrem nasse C5, unter der Brücke hindurch und 200 m weiter. Man kann den Canyon verlassen, auch nach der C14. Ausrüstung: Unbedingt überprüfen, um die C45 über die Rinne hinunterzusteigen. Achten Sie auf die Strömung. Kombinieren Sie diese Tour mit Gordolasque, das einige Kilometer flussaufwärts liegt. Mit dem Shuttlebus müssen Sie für beide Touren nicht laufen.

Start behind the bridge. R4, then the large waterfall, the descent of which is via the left-hand vein with sufficient flow. C14, then C45 with MC for the start channel, nice trough at the finish. If the current is too strong, you can start from a tree above. Possibly continue over an extremely wet C5, under the bridge and 200 m further on. You can leave the canyon, even after the C14. Equipment: Be sure to check to descend the C45 via the chute. Pay attention to the current. Combine this tour with Gordolasque, which is a few kilometers upstream. You don't have to walk for either tour with the shuttle bus.

Am Ende der letzten Steigung so gut wie möglich zur Straße 50 m oberhalb hinaufsteigen, dann zum Auto.

At the exit of the last ascent, climb as far as possible to the road 50 m above, then to the car.

Wasserfassung Durchflussmenge bei Niedrigwasser: ca. 200 l. Mehrere 3000 m hohe Gipfel überragen das Einzugsgebiet. Der Wasserfall „Cascade du Ray” hat keinen Einfluss auf die Durchflussmenge, die somit in etwa gleich bleibt. Die folgende C5 kann umgangen werden...
