From Ponte Serra, head uphill toward Lamon, then turn toward Arina. Park the recovery vehicle at the first houses in the village (Tabacco refuge, altitude 586). Take the shuttle bus uphill and park at BAR CAVALEA.

It's a 20-minute walk to Val dell'Orso.

At altitude 1025 you could descend, encountering some downclimbs and three abseils. Shortly thereafter, you'll begin to encounter sections of prehistorically shaped riverbed; a 4-meter downclimb with a view of a deep gorge will welcome you to Valpora. The stream is in a beautiful, vibrant natural setting, rich in majestic views. It presents no particular technical difficulties, except for one abseil that ends in a trap pool that must be jumped over to avoid getting stuck. Numerous fallen trees upstream make the first stretch less enjoyable.

Exit at the small bridge by going up the path on the left. There are two small dips, but they are not very interesting and would require a long swim in the lake.
