We drive north on the A-138 from Ainsa in the direction of Bielsa. We pass through Labuerda and Escalona to reach the bridge over the Rio Yaga (17 km from Ainsa, town center), where the Miraval canyon ends. We continue along the reservoir Embalse de Laspuña to Lafortunada (19.7 km from Ainsa, town center to here). Here we turn right, cross the bridge over the Rio Cinca and now park right in front of the village of Badan.

We take the path to the "Fuentes de Fornos" (= "Fuentes Blancas") and follow the red and white markings of the GR-15 towards Saravillo. We go up for quite a while along the orographic right bank of the Garona (about 45 min.). There, where the Garona flows in a right angle to our slope side, we cross the Rio Irues, which flows in here, to the southern bank of the Irues. The path now walks along the orographic left bank of the Garona, but we turn left about 50 m after the river crossing and take a path that goes uphill in an easterly direction. We pass the upper springs "de Fornos" and walk on until the view of the Rio Irues and the "El-Chorro" spring at the foot of the other side of the slope opens up to us. Here we enter the path.

First a narrow dark gorge with slippery rocks, smaller rappels, swimming sections and some possible jumps. We overcome a stone chaos. Then the spray cascades down from the left slope of the Fornos springs. Afterwards the canyon shows itself as a hiking canyon. So we walk out to the place where we had crossed the Rio Irues on the way there.
